Trauma Center: Second Opinion

Heart surgery and tumor removal might look easy from the morphine end, but how do you think the doctor feels? Well, you're going to find out! In Trauma Center, the patients' lives are in your hands! You'll experience all the drama we've come to expect from the medical field. So go ahead, toss on some scrubs and step into the O.R.-it's time to play doctor.

It's predecessor Trauma Center: Under the Knife has been hailed by critics as one of the best games for the Nintendo DS. "Arguably the most compelling use of the touch screen yet [Modojo]...You'll likely never play a pseudo-sim this engaging [GameSpy]...One of the most creative and entertaining experiences the DS has offered [GotNext]."

I didn't buy the DS version, but this is looking pretty promising.

I'm gonna be wearing a doctor's mask and playing this, standing up in the middle of the room in front of the tv and people are gonna walk in and I'll stop them mid sentence and go "hush! this is a very delicate procedure...".

I played the jap version of this and I really like the idea. I think games that improve your mind are becoming really big e.g. Big Brain game for DS. I really think that playing games and learning stuff is fun, can't wait til they bring out a spelling one or even how to learn french, german etc. I think it would be a great idea.

Great another RPG, boring. The only RPG I like is Kingdom Hearts.

Michael, are you aware the abbreviation you just used is also a racial slur? Wiikid, this isn't an RPG. It's a simulation. King of shark's, operations gross me out too.

If you look it up, you will see that you need to perform surgery on people. So if you're into that you could buy it, but I probably won't.

The Japanese are torturing us with all these crazy ideas that probably aren't going to work.

Wii thing has a point. The people who thought of this game must have been high. A lot of Japanese games seem to have that effect.

This game has already been proven to work, the DS version has gotten good reviews.

What is it with people these days? "This game looks different, it won't do well" or "This is just like that game I liked, so I will like this one". And I have to put up with that very often, thanks to my non-believing brother. This game seems like it will do just as well as the DS counterpart. And although hospitals make me sick, I'm not too bothered by this game. Must be because it's in cartoon format, which does not bother me in the slightest. Or maybe it's because consoles don't generate smells. God hospitals reek worse than my dad's feaces, and that's really saying something.

It looks like the story's just going to be recycled and the characters got all the style sucked out of them. I hope that's not the case in the final product.

Hehe, I know this is a game for people interested in this topic, but what if we get a scissor and just cut the patient's neck off? That would be cool.

Hey your space bar isn't broken, how did you type your message?

Just because Japanese people think differently, doesn't mean they're crazy or high. Plumbers, pipes, turtles, mushrooms, princesses? Sounds like Miyamoto was puffing the Magic Dragon when he made Mario! No. Japan is where the majority of good games are made. And besides, a doctor game isn't really THAT creative.

This will be great for people who like blood. If I get the game I will screw up my patients on purpose in different ways.

Hehe that would be fun. Screw up the patients.

I can see it now. This will be the first game you can be sued for malpractice. You mess up one surgery and next week a lawyer will show up and tell you you're being sued.

Oh no. Not another Trauma Center Game!

OH NO! Not another japanese anime game! (not that there's anything wrong with japan, I mean after all, they brought us the Wii).

What's wrong with trauma center? It looks fun and it is completely unique. It's better than the crap sony churns out over and over. And any sequels made would be better, because there are thousands of possible surgeries you could perform.

Good game, but I have somewhat of a weak stomach. I think I might buy this to overcome it. Thank god it's not REAL LIFE - I would've barfed into the incision.

Googoodolls, you didn't need to be that harsh! Anime games are awesome but this game is hard.

All japs are crazy and high. That's why I would love this game.

Hey! Captain Jamesman, you just said what I said a while back, but then you said I needed my voice box removed. That's pretty low. This game looks fun, but difficult.

I got this game, it's actually more enjoyable than people think it will be. People should open up their minds to new and different type of games instead of just Mario or Sonic. But this is just my opinion.

People really shouldn't judge these games by what they look like. Even I was a squeamish freak, and now I'm praying that there's a 4th (3rd?) game coming out. Also Markus is hot as hell.
