Colored Wiimote straps

Nintendo of Japan has released some media showing off colored straps for the Wiimote. The new colors are blue (for boys), pink (for girls), and green (presumably for aliens or pets).

These will be released in Japan during September, they can be bought separately or as a pack of four.

I would use the blue strap for player 1, red/pink strap for player 2, and I never synched 4 wiimotes into my Wii before, so I don't know what color the number is on the hand on the Wii menu or Wii sports.

This could possibly be an indication of different Wiimote colors coming. Why release simple colored straps without something to match them with.

They're just straps. What they need are different colored systems (like 64 and GameCube did) and different controller colors.
