Another day, another gun peripheral for Wii. This one is made by reputable 3rd party accessories maker Nyko.
It has an aiming sight and everything -_O
It's called the Perfect Shot Gun, done in a standard pistol type design, leaving one hand free to use the Nunchuk.

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

Looks cool, but a sight would be weird since where you are directly pointing does not always correspond with where the cursor is on the screen when using the Wiimote.

Isn't it funny that the only really good FPS for Wii (Metroid 3) uses A to fire and B to jump.
rapzeh said:
Maybe it's better, if you can use your nunchuk and all the other buttons.

Cool.

I think the only reason I'd ever get that is to hold it sideways.

It's probably better than the Zapper.

Wow how many of these are there going to be?

A 44 caliber Wii-mote, the most awesome remote in the world, able to blow your head clean off. So you've got to ask yourself one question, "Does the Wii kick ass?", Well does it, punk? - Dirty Harry.

Looks a lot more ingenious than a lot of other shells. And it's by Nyko, so that means it's the second coming of Jesus. I swear their memory cards for the Gamecube were better than the official ones. Good to know that it lets the Nunchuk be elsewhere, because that was what was problematic with past gun shells for the Wii; they wouldn't work with all games.

It's only a matter of "time", the dude.

You can switch A and B round on the options screen of metroid, if you so desire.

Well, it -looks- cool, but how well does it work with shooter titles? RE4 test required.

This would be ideal for red steel. Perhaps even breathe another couple of hours of life into it.

This would work perfect for resident evil chronicles.

Ya Mike, Metroid is the only good FpS game out there. You can switch the controls and make A jump and B fire, but it's easier with A as fire because your thumb doesn't get as tired as your pointer finger when pressing buttons repeatedly. Man, I can remember a year ago when I thought Metroid was stupid. I finally picked up Metroid Prime because I was curious about Samus from SSBM. I played it, I loved it, and now Metroid is one of my favorite series.

Huh, even looks better than the Zapper.

I wish people would stop expecting these things to work with RES 4. The buttons aren't set up for such a game, so no they will not work well, and if they do manage to work well, it's sheer luck.

Does anyone know if it works well with house of dead?

Mine does not work at all! Piece of sh--! Zapper is MUCH better.

My kids got the Cabela's big game 2010 game for the Wii with the Cabela's Wii peripheral firearm, my problem is that the game will only recognize the controls for the Wii zapper, which I don't have. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong and how to fix it?
