Looks like a good number of people in North America will get the chance to play Super Smash Bros Brawl before it's even out.
In the run-up to its launch, SSBB tournaments are being held in four major cities in the US. These tourneys will hit Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and finally New York (where there will be a special midnight launch).
256 people can take part in each tournament, all of them will get a $10 Best Buy gift card. The four regional winners will duke it out in New York for a chance at the #1 prize. The grand prize is a custom designed Wii covered in crystals (not Chaos Emeralds), a home theater system and a copy of Brawl.
If you're interested in taking part here are the dates and locations:
February 16th - 3pm
Orpheum Theater, 842 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90014
February 23rd - 2pm
Ten15 Folsom, 1015 Folsom St., San Francisco, CA 94103
March 1st - 3pm
Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Olden Hall, 100 Institute Road, Worcester, MA 01609
March 8th - 5pm
Best Buy (NOHO), 622 Broadway, New York, NY 10012

UK is English speaking but we have to wait for the game to be translated in french- german- spanish- italian and all that. I mean why can't we have the US version!? It's not as if it's any different, same with this tournament. Sorry I just didn't know where to post this little rant.
