Monkey Island goes WiiWare

Guybrush Threepwood, star of the old Monkey Island games is coming to WiiWare in a new adventure series called Tales of Monkey Island. President of LucasArts, Darrell Rodriguez spoke:

"We couldn't be any more excited about bringing Monkey Island to today's gamers through our collaboration on the episodic series. We can't wait for Guybrush and LeChuck to return to our screens".

This will be an episodic series with 5 installments, one released each month. Telltale Games are in the development seat, and their team actually includes some of the designers and artists that worked on previous Monkey Island titles.
