A few days ago we had news about a new game called MadWorld, a violent fighting title from Platinum Games. Set in black and white, it's been said to have a Sin City-esque vibe to it. As he makes his way through the harsh color-less world, the main character Jack brings pain on his enemies using chainsaws, street signs and god knows what else.
Likely to be one of those love-it-or-hate-it games, but to me it looks freakin sweet! MadWorld is penned for release during Q1 2009, so there's a while to go yet.

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

When people run in circles (with street signs in their skulls) it's a very, very mad world.

Sounds like jack is doing a rabbid impression. "Daaaaaahhhh!". That could get annoying after a while.

Nintendo won't let a game like Call of Duty 4 on the Wii, but they'll allow this game?
Senpai said:
Wii Freak, it's not all Nintendo's fault, they just don't want to alienate any fans, and there are a lot of people who hate call of duty because they think it's some kind of pro-iraq war game (though it's not, obviously) and the depiction of that in media is looked down upon. So if there is a possibility that Nintendo would lose any players due to that, they won't risk it. Of course, we've seen that the only people that hate CoD4 already hate games anyways.

I would if one of the weapons was a Wii remote.

Correction: I would laugh if one of the weapons was a Wii remote.

This better be rated M, I don't want it dumbed down so a kid can get his hands on it.

Did anyone else notice that most of the screams were the same? I wouldn't buy this if they don't even bother putting different sounds in it.
