Know what this ominous looking thing is? No it's ok, the Wii doesn't want to gas you in your sleep. Pictured above is the JTT Mute Mic, a microphone designed for karaoke games in situations where the noise level needs to be kept down.
The microphone plugs into the USB slot at the back of the console, and comes with a detachable, cleanable (don't want cooties) muffler.
It's selling in Japan at an RRRP of 3,480 yen ($35 USD), but the resulting silence is allegedly golden.
