Finally, Megaman returns to his roots. Out of all the mascot characters he is the most corrupted, with all those lousy versions and spinoffs. Although I did like megaman legends and the x series, it's about time he got a GREAT GAME, not just a good game or a crappy game. Hopefully Capcom can pull this off.

SP, as much as I'd hate to admit it, what DKL says is somewhat true. Sonic games HAVE been less fun lately, but still, if megaman could make a comeback like this, so could Sonic.

I'm with you on MM2, although MM3 was the first one that I played. MMX2 was the best of the X series, but MMX5 has the best boss music out of all of them. Rockman and Forte definitely redeemed the series and should be the official MM9. I want to go on about the good MM games but I personally think that it went downhill after a certain point for both series. I'm still an old school MM fanboy and I expect nothing but the best for this new one.

I'm excited that the original Mega Man would make a comeback. He had not being on a Nintendo home console since the Super NES and the Game Boy Advance's Mega Man and Bass was his swansong. The anniversary collection was a good flashback but what we really need now is the real Mega Man and it really is interesting that Capcom is bringing him back and sadly for the last time.

Sonic games have become recycled garbage, it's true. Don't be blind and defend it simply because you love Sonic. I mean c'mon, he's a knight and a were-wolf-hedgehog thing? Jeezuz. Oh yeah and I remember a time when the camera would actually stay on Sonic. These developers need to follow Capcom's lead and get back to what really made these games successful. Start from the beginning and work your way up again. Great graphics with horrible gameplay/story is like putting sprinkles on dog crap.
