Sweet they're making a new POP game, awesome.

JD said:

Yup, but considering the the end of POP: TTT there may be no sands of time. Does anyone know if they are in it?

Ja-Mez said:

POP is pretty good. I wonder what the storyline will be this time. Yay 2nd post!

It'll probably be prequel or between-quel.

The previous PoP games were solid. This will be awesome with the wii controller. I give it a thumbs up.

This game will be on the same storyline, it was made by the same dudes.

Prince of Persia is an awesome game. It's going to be amazing on the Wii!

GnikSivart said:

Its probably just a remake of the original game that they are coming out with on the Wii but just being different because of the controls.

Avatar

stonehands said:

I agree with GnikSivart, after the last Prince of Persia I honestly don't think they would make a new one because it would be pretty stupid to just "oh my god! The sands of time dagger has mysteriously appeared in my hands! I must embark on a long quest, and since there are no more sand monsters to kill. Innocents will do fine". They will call it "Prince of Persia: A Warrior Who Lost His Purpose". Not to say killing innocents wouldn't be fun, but the story would be messed up and wouldn't stick to the original plot because POP is specifically about the sands of time, you can't just change it.

I think that it's also going to be a remake.

wiiboy101 said:

You're all missing the point, it's an existing gamecube game with wiimote tacked on. I think we're talking twin thrones with a rename to hide that it's an old game. I'm not liking this attitude one bit, 3rd parties really do stink.

It looks like a remake of the last one. I don't know. It might be a different game. And stonehands, they would make a new story. Although I do agree with you that it would be fun. Prince of Persia: San Andreas haha. Sounds awesome. I would buy it.

It's the two thrones but they have changed it for the Wii.

What's that? Killing innocents? Maybe this will be fun. What's that? We can't? Damn you all!

Avatar

Wiidaman said:

Yea probably a wiimake but it should still be fun.

Cash-in. I'm not interested, I see your game ubisoft. Won't wash with mii.

This is the Two Thrones. Not rival that's dumb just keep it the same darn name if it's basically the same game.

I think it's going to be like TTT just when you are and aren't the dark prince is different.

Avatar

DarkVic said:

This game is jus POP: TTT with different game mechanics.

Avatar

Gonzo said:

This game does looks like POP: The Two Thrones. This better not be the same storyline. It better have a different one!

Avatar

Gonzo said:

This game comes out on either the 13th or 31st of March 07'.

Avatar

Sonic Fan said:

It comes out on the 30th, Gonzo.

Captain Jamesman said:

*yawn* Prince of Persia? I'd rather play Pac-Man.

Avatar

Gonzo said:

This looks exactly like the old one.

Avatar

Sonic Fan said:

Prince of Persia would decapitate Pac-Man with blow!

Avatar

Captain Jamesman said:

Forget I said Pac-Man, how bout Castlevania?

Avatar

DragonFoxCoon said:

I was liking this, but now I'm worried. That's the twisted Prince from The Two Thrones. I hate it when people remake games and rename them; you can tell they're money driven with crap like that. At least they're not redoing the second one. That game blew chunks compared to the first.

Avatar

Gonzo said:

This game is going to be so fun.

Avatar

Gonzo said:

Imagine with the wiimote!

Avatar

Hey said:

Wouldn't it be kind of hard to decapitate Pacman? Y'know, because his head is kind of his body? Hmm. I heard that this was a remake of the Two Thrones, so I hope to see some new material on the Wii version.

Master Foot said:

Now I'm getting concerned that the Wii is going to be a port box. Ubisoft better update it.

Avatar

wiiboy101 said:

What are peeps wooting at, it's a cheep cash-in by ubisoft. The game's already out on gamecube, ps2, xbox etc. It's a cheapshot at our spending money by ubisoft. A real Wii version would have been nice, not this blatant attempt to rip us off.

Avatar

DragonFoxCoon said:

That's basically what I said, wiiboy101. And I share Master Foot's concern; however, I feel it a bit differently. I think that not enough developers are really taking advantage of Nintendo's unique design yet. I think it's too soon in the Wii's life to expect some innovative gameplay from anyone except Nintendo, so crap like this is bound to come. All we have to do is be patient and some genius will come up with the next big thing.

Gonzo said:

I want this badly! Come out already.

Avatar

o.O said:

Looks cool. I really haven't played any of the prince of Persia games, they never struck my interest. Maybe this will make me reconsider!

Avatar

Gonzo said:

It's going to come out on the 13th of March. I think it's going to be the exact same as the other one, just with better controls.

Avatar

DarkVic said:

The two thrones wasn't amazing. The first POP was probably the best. Warrior within wasn't that bad.

Avatar

theman said:

Best POP game was probably Sands of Time. Wonder about this one.

Avatar

Anthony said:

This game will be terrible to all who played the last, as this is the exact same game just with added Wii remote effects. No excitement at all in that.

Avatar

Divinity Boy said:

Warrior within was annoying with all the dahaka chases.

When I use a save point on this game, after I quit, when I try to load my game back up it's not there, does anyone know why or how to fix it?

Can anyone help me please. How to kill the Twins warriors in Prince of Persia Rival Swords.

Avatar

ToTaLgAmEr said:

azad, I only played the gamecube version but to beat the twins, go to the axe guy. And when he jumps up high to attack, roll out the way then slash his back like crazy. If axe guy won't attack then attack brother until he does.

Christmas Wii said:

It does look like a remake of the last game, but since I don't have that for the PS, I might as well get it for the Wii.
