What are the odds that some idiot like me with splintercell in his username would show up and months later, the game is released on the wii. Am I a good omen or what?

Can't wait to use the wii-remote to play this game.

Personally, I hope the controls don't end up like so many DS games did. You know, like you just tap stuff on the touch screen or use it to navigate menus. I hope they can take the perfect splinter cell controls and make them even better.

Splinter cell is alright. Personally, I would like it if the game was easier. On pandora tommorow, I couldn't even get past the tutorial level!

Splinter cell isn't for idiot gamers. It takes patience and precision.

And you people thought that the Wii wouldn't have good enough graphics.

Man this should be awesome! How cool would it be if you could hold the wiimote up and actually interrogate enemies with the knife to their neck? Man, that would be insane.

Knowing Ubisoft the Wii version will have sweet next gen graphics.

I saw the boxart for the Wii version and noticed that the game is rated E, but for 360 it's rated M. What the hell did Ubisoft do?

Avatar

Splintercell4ever said:

It is not going to be E, it will be M. They forgot to flip the E on its side. Anyway, I hear that you can slit enemies throats with the controller. Pretty tight.

Will it have internet play?

I have seen the 360 version, it's great and using the Wii system hopefully it will be even better. I don't see why it wouldn't have online play, the 360 one has it.

That's not rated E!

I love the splinter cell series, but the controls for this may be a tad bit touchy. If you hold the wiimote like a knife to a terrorist, all it takes is one slip. And if you are also using the nunchuck to walk around, it would be even more touchy. Right?

i need a wii...eww said:

Outi, that's real life for you. The Nintendo Wii is about having fun with less buttons, this could improve your balance or your arm strength slightly but you are right about using the nunchuck. I guess that owning a Wii we will get used to it with most games.

Solid Snake would almost kill Sam fisher.

Avatar

Splintercell4ever said:

Actually, it's the other way around.

Avatar

Sonic Fan said:

Okay, Splintercell4ever. You tell me how this match would turn out. Tell me how is Sam Fisher going to defeat Snake.

Avatar

Splintercell4ever said:

Two words: sticky shocker.

Avatar

Sonic Fan said:

And, what does that mean?

Avatar

Splintercell4ever said:

He shoots a sticky shocker at snake.

Sonic Fan said:

Oh really, huh? Well hate to dissapoint you. But if you go to google, type in GrandSlam Tournament 2005, Look that up an click on the second thing. And it will show you this tournament on Supercheats. Go all the way down click the forth or fifth page, and it will show you a mtch between Snake and Sam Fisher. Read it, and still try to prove me wrong.

I recently gave Double Agent to a friend of mine (who didn't play any of the previous games) and he says it's the best present he ever received, and had played it his entire weekend. That's from a REAL Person, not a fanboy.

This game is probably one of, if not the best Wii games I've seen yet. Buy this game. You will not regret it. And he's in prison, Scooby, so they shaved his head.

Splintercell4ever said:

Shaved hairs are becoming more popular now. Almost the whole cast of prison break has a shaved head. Better than some longhair.

I heard this on quip of dialog on G4, and.. well E for everyone was definitely a mistake.

You're right, it takes patience and precision, neither of which I have. Some of the options don't work and it's very awkward to maneuver at times, don't even try to play with the zapper, you'd have a seizure just keeping up with which way is up. But for the seasoned vet of such games it's a great challenge. Too advanced for me but yet a great game in itself.
