Very good
Being a Nintendo fan ever since the age of three, I have seen Nintendo in every form. NES, GameBoy, Super NES, N64, Gamecube, heck, even the Virtual Boy! That being said, I have also known and loved their Zelda franchise at the same time. Nearly every single Zelda game has been...read full review

Zelda: the Windwaker is a cool game. It's just too easy and it doesn't feel like the other Zelda games. I like it but it is not better than Ocarina of Time, close though.

I like when you get to catch pigs.

My older brother got stuck on forsaken fortress. That is sad and pathetic.

I reckon it was ok, different but good different. But yea doesn't measure up to OoT though. I hear people saying "What were they thinking, this game is****!" there's me in the corner *small voice* well. I liked it. Heh. Pigs are good.

It was a fantastic game and in my opinion is the most replayable Zelda game today, except possibly A Link to the Past. The only thing preventing it from getting a 10 for graphics is that at some point, sailing becomes more of a chore than something fun.

I think it's wicked that you can play games for GameCube, but it kind of sucks that you can't use the wiimote or nunchuck and that you need to use the GameCube controller.

I have beat this game exactly 10 tmes and loved each time! It is the third best video game inthe world. You must play it.

I agree that it is a game you can play over and over. I think it's the fact that there are so many side quests and things to do, that you find something new every time. This was a fun game. It was easy though. I would give it an A.

I think this is a great game, but I agree with evil trash that there is too much sea and not enough land. I think the islands should be a lot bigger. It is an easy game but there is a lot to do. I think the best part of the game is when you take pictures of people then give them to this guy that makes them into statues.

Yea the game was cool, but it would have been better if you could have all your weapons at the end of the game.

Wow what is andrew talking about? First off, WW wasn't the shortest LoZ game. Has he forgotten about MM with 4? This Zelda game actually gave me more of the feel than Twilight Princess did. The one and only thing about this game that is questionable is sailing everywhere (until ballad of gales). otherwise, I totally underestimated this game when it came out and it turned out to be beautiful. I personally think, Andrew, you're being too hard on this game. This is as ridiculous as the Without a Paddle review on IGN. WW ROCKS.

I'm stuck somewhere. It could be nice to get all the stuff and beat the game.

I love it! The only thing that gets repetitive is the picture-figurine side quest. Take pictures, give to guy, take more pictures; kind of like "wash, rinse and repeat". The graphics are so upbeat and refreshing.

I haven't played many Zelda games but everyone has a good opinion of them. Do you have to be a fan for this game to be fun?
Wiipaw said:
No, wassup, you can pick up any Zelda game for the first time and fall in love with it.

If anyone subscribed to Nintendo power this year (2008) it said for top 20 games on GC, this was second and resident evil was first! I thought smash would be first but it was third.
Nintendoof said:
I think Andrew was a little too harsh on this game. Even though it was his opinion I didn't like it. The game didn't take that long sailing between islands. And it definitely wasn't the shortest.

I like the part when you unlock the tower of the gods cause link in ww keeps on getting blasted then crash into a wall!

This Zelda game was the first Zelda game I ever played, and it was the second best game I had for the gamecube.

What are yall all talking about?! This game was definitely hard sometimes. I am at the tower of gods where you have to make the god statues follow you into their "special place" and I'm on the second god. Can someone please help me?
3confusedgirls said:
Nevermind we got it. Thanks.

Ok. Let me just say something. Everybody says wind waker is "underrated" but I've only met 4 people who do not like this game, and only 1 because of the graphics! Sorry.
