Arcade games hit Virtual Console

Arcade games hit Virtual Console

It was announced at GDC '09 that arcade games will be hitting the Virtual Console in future, and the first batch are already available.

They all cost 500 points, besides Gaplus which is 600. Good news? What arcade titles would you like to be downloading in the coming weeks?

All those rail shooters that they used to have on every street corner of the world would be cool.

Ms. Pac Man. SF Rush. Added online support for the latter would be amazing, and worthy of 1,000 points or more.

C'mon Nintendo. Where's Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Popeye, or RadarScope. At least give us one first party arcade game at VC Arcade launch. Still with the announcement of arcade support for VC sounds good. Now some of those MAME games could make their way to VC soon. Strider, Final Fight, Ninja Gaiden, Rygar, TMNT, Ikari and more.

Hmm. I wonder if they will make new arcade games. If they do then make a Pikmin spinoff arcade game.

Okay. I know that the Turbo Grafx 16 version of SPLATTERHOUSE has been released for VC but, a lot of players would love to own the Arcade Coin-Op version of SPLATTERHOUSE. Blood and gore gamers would adore this title and making the Wii a hardcore system likely would (maybe) effect the VC game port choices. I hope they also add Sega Sonic the Hedgehog and Sheriff.
