China gets special 3DS XL designs

iQue are the company that distributes Nintendo's handheld consoles in mainland China. A press release on their official website shows that the Chinese market will be treated to some great looking variations of the 3DS XL:

Checkered.

Silver.

Red.

These models are coming out in December and are preloaded with Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7. They're region locked to China, so don't get any fancy ideas about importing one.

The chances of them being released in the west are probably slim to none, but I'd be all over that checkered one if it happened.
