A listing on the EBGames website implies that FIFA 2008 will be available for Wii.
Said to release in September this year, it's developed and published by EA (of course).
Nothing is known about the controls at this stage, but judging by the use of Wiimote in games like Madden and SSX Blur, you might expect some motion sensing action in this too.

EA sucks at developing. Why don't they just use Criterion. Have you seen Burnout Revenge?!

I have a lot of suggestions for fifa 2008 like: I say that it would be better if thre will be a program in the game which can be used to create stadiums. Also put all the leagues from europe, including the romanian, ukranian and russian leagues. Put all national teams on the planet and add more existing stadiums. Create for each team the coach that they have in reality, each with his own skill and also put a coach transfer.
George said:
Please include all European leagues, such as the Greek (they are the European Champions, their league should be included), Russian, or at least all the European leagues that have a 1-2 teams in the Champions League almost every year. Introduce the option of managing a national team in the career mode when you are skilled enough to handle a level that high (e.g When have enough stars or complete a certain amount of challenges). Keep the youth teams in so as to draw players from when a club has injury problems or has not enough money to buy players. In this way a small club can have the potential of growing financially by selling some of its talents from the youth teams. Moreover, it would be nice when another club is interested on you (as a coach), to submit an offer to you, and not just have a list of the teams that the player is now allowed to work to. And again please include the Greek SuperLeague.

They have career mode so they should do player mode where you play as 1 player like your name and you transfer to different teams etc.

I will suggest having an option to set the shift button to be used with other keys, because a lot people play with gamepads and it's awful to not have a shift (fint-key) and the other thing is to have a different set of keys for the controllers.

The Romanian league is one of the best in Europe. Romanian clubs have constantly been in the the last stages of uefa cup, Romania is ranked number 14 in the world, and yet no Romanian league in your games. What a shame?! Maybe this year?
levski bulgaria said:
Please add Bulgarian league (TBA A group). In last 2-3 years bulgarian teams had a great time in Europe. Levski Sofia have been in the the last stages of UEFA cup and this season in the groups of Champions League. CSKA Sofia, Litex Lovech and Loko Sofia also have great time in UEFA cup. Please add Bulgarian league in FIFA 2008.
ELMO said:
Please add Bulgarian A group, but if you can't do that make CSKA (sofia) and Levski (sofia) as created teams.
Dimitris said:
Please add greek leagues. We won the european cup didn't we? You must add, at least our favourite teams. Aris, Panionios, OFI and Iraklis are waiting for YA.

Why isn't Holland in the international teams? Make it so EA!
valxvg said:
What also would be good is that in addition to the european leagues (i.e Champions, uefa) the south american libertadores and sudamericana should be a good option. In addition to the brazilian league, the major south american leagues like argentina, paraguay or ecuador should at least appear in the next versions of the game.
DPOWER said:
You should put in every international and national team from all over the world in 08, it would be more interesting. Most teams should have most of their reserve players included too.

Please add in fifa 08 the romanian league, or put Steaua Buc in the categories 'Rest of the World'. Thank you.

Is fifa 2008 coming out for gamecube?
scott said:
I hope it has an option for the normal control on it.
NEW IDEAS said:
3 steps to making the best Fifa game. 1) More South American teams and Copa Libertadores From leagues such as Brasilian, Argentinian, Colombian, Peruvian, Bolivian leagues. Teams such as Athletico Juniour, Santos, River Plate, Boca Juniours, Internatinal etc. 2) DEKES we need flip flaps, crossovers. 3) Legendary team has to have Maradona, Pele, Carlos Velderrama, Bobby charlton, Beckembauer etc. Include these features for the Wii.

Add steaua bucharest in fifa 08, I'm from spain but steaua bucharest is my favorite team and steaua does not exist in "ea sport fifa 1998-2007!"?

Please put more leagues in the new FIFA game, especially the central-europe leagues like: romanian, bulgarian, serbian, ukranian leagues; but also: russian, hungarian, turkish, greek, australian, argentinian, egyptian, israelian leagues and many other. Also it would be nice to introduce in the game the major international competitions like: UEFA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Intertoto Cup, UEFA Supercup, Copa Libertadores and African and Asian cups; but also the World Cup, EURO, African Cup of Nations, Copa America, Asian cup of nations; and introduce all the national teams in the world (by the way: why is the dutch national team not in FIFA?). It would also be nice if there were more options like: manager transfer, more stadiums, more legendary teams (like steaua bucharest 1986, Romania 1994, England 1966) and legendary players (Hagi, Maradona, Pele, Gica Popescu, Dobrin, Zico); a new single player mode that allows you to play the career of one player; and please create nicer supporters (because they look like they are made from cardboard) and realistic referees! I hope EA will introduce at least some of the requests.
