GoldenEye creator wants it on VC

Martin Hollis, the man behind popular Nintendo 64 game "GoldenEye 007" has admitted he would like to see it downloadable on Virtual Console at some stage, but the odds are unfortunately long. Speaking to the official Nintendo magazine, he commented:

"There is always someone with an exclusivity agreement, so there's lots of lawyers. I'm not going to hold my breath. I'd love it to happen, but I can't see it".

Bad news for many a Wiier, as GoldenEye won our N64 poll some months ago, even edging out the likes of Super Smash Bros..

At this point, I'd just about like to see anything released for N64 VC. What is taking them so long?

I don't really think we need super smash bros 64. The other smash bros games are just extensions of that. Playing today is tough, especially being used to all the content, features, and better graphics on later smash bros games.

I'd like to see GoldenEye 007. With online play support added. Wouldn't that be baller? Maybe some WiiSpeak compatibility too. And I'd also like a toilet made of gold.

Nove: Even if the N64 SSB isn't as good as melee or brawl I'd still like it on the VC just because it's the thing that started it all. I still want golden eye though.
