Seemingly unlikely partners, Grasshopper and EA have teamed up to make a horror game. As yet untitled, it's being produced by Shinji Mikami (the creator of Resident Evil) and will be directed by Suda 51.
With talents like these on board and EA's.. money, it could be one to watch out for. Suda 51 is already impressed with EA's involvement, commenting:
"They are a great partner, sharing our commitment to quality and innovation while still respecting our independence as a studio, it's very empowering. In other cases, I would want to do something before but couldn't, since working with EA they've provided everything I wanted".
On the other hand, it's a multi-platform effort - those platforms being Wii, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

Well, I'm not happy it's multi-platform, but at least Xbroke and Immitation3 aren't hogging the attention.

Let me show you my rage. I liked it until I found out that it was multi platform. Suda 51 and Shinji are both big Nintendo fans, and unlike the other companies, and players, Nintendo and its fans have been VERY good to them. When Mikami said he had another horror game to take out his own monster, I could have sworn he said he wanted to keep it Nintendo, after being so upset about Capcom porting his RE4, he sure doesn't seem worried that his next game is going to be going the same route. But really, you know they are going to change the game for the Wii, and that's upsetting. I hope this game is HORRIBLE, so when the sequel comes around, only Nintendo is willing to give it another try. Finally, you forgot that it's not just ONE game, it's a new series.

Teamed up? Please! The gargantuan entity that is EA has consumed and assimilated Grasshopper. Who will be the next to be devoured by this insatiable beast.

Grasshopper really should work with the Too Human developers and make Eternal Darkness 2.
