MK 8 moves big numbers

Nintendo's latest release in the long running Mario Kart franchise, Mario Kart 8, has already seen some impressive numbers and is proving to be exactly what Nintendo needed after a hard year.

Alongside this significant feat, the game is on pace to have the biggest week 1 debut of any Wii U title as well as sales for consoles boosting up 666% in the UK.

Nintendo sure has a big hit on their hands and with a year full of other strong titles, they shouldn't have a problem seeing a profit in the upcoming year.
