The thing that was, and still is great about MH1 is how balanced the gameplay is. Lacking plot and pvp, that's what the MH franchise has going for it, a rare, fun to interact with (once you learn the controls) and fair game. Going to Wii can only make things better, of course assuming that they don't make it hit A or B to attack. Button mashers are boring games.

If you want "hardcore" games, go look up Contra, Battletoads, Megaman, any OTHER monster hunter game, anything that you have to devote ANY amount of time and practice to in order to beat it. Yeah, next you'll be saying "Polly Pocket Horseback Riding" is SO HARDCORE. The Wii was originally intended for social, easy, family-and-youth oriented games. Which is exactly the opposite of MH. If you've even played MH, you'll be sad to know that some boss fights take upwards of 2 HOURS to do. And you can still die. And often do. And then do that, 10 times, farming materials for a piece of armor. This is NOT Wii oriented, especially if I'm to be swinging my arms around for 2 hours. GG Nintendo, GG.

I've played all the monster hunters except 2 and frontier and also played 3 and it's the same MH as any other system. I can assure you that you won't be flinging anything around while playing with the motion controls and still even if you don't like the motion there is the option of the classic control especially if it's the pro which equates to a PS2 control. I can admit Galaxy wasn't difficult however it is still hardcore and mario bros Wii is even more so and promotes the difficulty of its 8bit roots.

Put it on both ps3 and Wii so you won't lose any customers! I would happily buy it if it's on ps3, seems a very good game in the series.
