Winter makes publishers cold

Developers nSpace have released footage of a survival horror game intended for the Wii console. It's called Winter.

Winter follows the adventures of a lady called Mia, who wakes up in an abandoned ambulance with no memory of how she got there. Along the way she has to battle for survival against the elements and angry beasts in a town where a snowstorm has set in.

Unfortunately no third party publishers have been interested in picking it up yet, due to them favoring casual games. This means that Winter may never see the light of day.

The game is only 6 weeks into development, but would-be fans have already started a petition showing their interest. If Winter seems like something you'd be keen on, the petition is located here.

This is the most boring, non-scary, horror video game I've ever seen. It's a game meant for the PC, not the Wii.

Someone needs to step up and publish this. Wii needs more variety instead of the boat load of minigames or barbie crap.

Now just a minute Brawler200, the jury's still out. Eternal Darkness had an undesirable plot, but now it's among the best horror games out there.

I love how they played lord of the rings music when wolf attacked.

Weird, it's the first 3rd party game bar Godfather Wii that actually addresses immersion via the Wii controls. Didn't we all buy Wiis to play this way in the first damn place. 3rd party publishers are insane and out of touch with reality. Tighten up those 3d motion controls, flesh out those graphics, it could be a killer game. I want Eternal Darkness 2, also a classic.
