The secret SEGA game discussed the other day has been unveiled by Famitsu magazine.
It's titled Pole's Big Adventure and is, in terms of both graphics and gameplay, a throwback to the 8-bit NES era. Humor is said to be prevalent throughout, with at least 100 hidden gags paying homage to classics such as Super Mario Bros. Some screens can be seen in grainy scans below
With less than a day to go on the official website's countdown, hopefully some clearer and more varied screenshots will be available shortly.
Pole's Big Adventure hits the Japanese WiiWare service on February 3rd for 500 points. No word on a US or European release.

It was bad enough that I was wrong about the game being a Sonic and Mario face-off, but it's even worse to find out SEGA is making a game that was obviously ripped off of the early Mario bros series.

I hope more developers are going to make old style games like this and mega man 9.

Why couldn't SEGA just make a new Alex Kidd game, that would have been so much better.

If this game turns out bad it brings shame towards Super Mario Bros.
