It's been confirmed that a version of Pro Evo Soccer has been running and playable on Wii hardware. There hasn't been any official announcement from publisher Konami, but producer of the series Shingo Takatsuka has stated that it's currently in development and testing.
Mr Takatsuka said the Wii controls are far from finalised and that various options are being experimented with. The team are apparently looking to use the Nunchuk for throw-ins, passing and perhaps even shooting.
He also commented that he's heard rumors of EA testing out a system of strapping the remote to a player's foot for shooting. Comical as that sounds, you just never know.

Wow! This sounds awesome, I can't wait for it to come out. Throwing in with the nunchuk sounds cool as well as strapping the wiimote to your foot. As dumb as it sounds I hope it really works and they'll make it happen.
