If you've ever wanted to see Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton appear in the same game, you're some kind of crazy random dreamer - but it's happening nevertheless.

Over in Japanland, developers Level 5 held a press conference where they talked about projects that are currently ongoing. During the presentation, Ace Attorney designer Shu Takumi came on-stage and made the announcement about a Layton and Phoenix game on Nintendo 3DS.

The game has no English title as of yet, its Japanese name is Layton Kyouju vs Gyakuten Saiban. That may sound confrontational, but don't expect this particular Capcom crossover to be a beat 'em up ^_^
