A Red Faction game was apparently in the works for Nintendo Wii, but had to be canceled when developers Locomotive Games closed down.
Red Faction is an FPS series set on planet Mars around the year 2158. I played through the first game on PC and it was pretty cool at the time. This video shows the Wii version in its early development stages:
Graphically it looks like it had a way to go, but who knows how it would have turned out in the end. There's no news on whether another studio will pick up where things left off.
