Go Ryu, it's y'birthday
Here's a nice piece of news to make some of you feel old (ok, me too): the Street Fighter franchise just celebrated its 25th birthday. On August 30th, 1987, the first Street Fighter game was released in Japanese arcades. It wasn't a huge success like its sequel, but did show early snippets of what was to come - series regulars like Ryu, Ken and Sagat are in there, along with 6-buttoned controls and some special moves.
A year later the first Street Fighter was ported onto TurboGrafx-16, under the amusing title Fighting Street.
What's your preferred Street Fighter game?

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).
