Ron Gilbert, the well known game designer behind the first two Monkey Island adventure titles, is bringing his new downloadable game called The Cave onto Wii U in early 2013. It features three main characters who are stuck in a mysterious labyrinth and they must solve puzzles to get out. Here's a trailer:

Ron Gilbert currently works alongside Tim Schafer at Double Fine Productions, the studio responsible for some truly great games like Psychonauts, and more recently, Costume Quest and Stacking. With this kind of heritage, The Cave promises to be one to look out for.
