Ubisoft has revealed it will be publishing a fighting game based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
According to Nintendo Power magazine, it will be 2.5D in style, similar to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Features include:
There's said to be a quality development team behind the title, comprised of Tecmo's Team Ninja and some others who worked on Brawl itself. They claim an online mode will also be included, which will surpass what SSBB has managed to do.
A release is penned for September 2009, so far only a Wii version has been confirmed.

Make all the "superior online mode" threats you want, SSBB still ROCKS.

I don't care if the online is improved. It's still a Ninja "Brawl Clone" Turtles game.

The only real good TMNT games were the NES games in the 80's, that's a clone if I ever see one and Brawl is one of the few games to make a perfect score on my list (yes I am a critic).

No, Brawl is pretty much the best. No explanation required.

I hope this fighting game turns out as best as it can, since it is not based on any Ninja Turtles movies, cartoon, or tv show. The last great TMNT fighting game that I played was TMNT Tournament Fighters for the Super NES.
