In a recent interview, Gabe Newell the co-founder of Valve Software expressed a keen interest in researching brain data of players while they're gaming.
"One of the areas we're really interested in is testing biometrics on player state. There are new technologies where we can wire players up with EEGs and actually have direct exposure to their physical reactions to the games".
Good thinking, or science gone bad?

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

I would volunteer for that.

Those guys at Valve are amazing. If they teamed up with Nintendo for something, the world may possibly end.

Mind control through video games has already begun. ALREADY BEGUN! Personally, I don't like where this is going. Since most video game systems would be connected to the net, what's stopping companies and hackers from probing your mind during online games? Privacy will be a major issue once this tech rolls around.

Well, Master Foot, this is where Nintendo's talk about safety comes in.

I watched videos like counter-strike and source for Wii. But I think they are only for download. Gearbox has ported Brothers in Arms to Wii but still no word from Valve for Wii though. Valve only made PC games until the fall of 2005 when Half-life 2 came out for Xbox. Counter-strike was also released for Xbox (which a Dreamcast version is now available for download. Half-life for Sega Dreamcast was leaked and fully playable. They're not entirely polished and missing a few sound effects. Gearbox ported half-life to PS2 and they also ported Blue Shift to PC (originally a DC exclusive). Now Orange Box is out for pc, 360 and PS3. I highly doubt there will be a game for Wii. Your only luck is to download it to Wii. Gabe Newell talks about making a Wii game but so far it is only gibberish. Remember Portal for Wii? Valve said Portal is not coming to Wii. Then there is Counter-strike source for Wii with help from Gearbox, and still not a single word.
