White cube pads resurrected

White cube pads resurrected

White Gamecube controllers are making a comeback in Japan, according to the product pages on the official Nintendo website over there. It's not yet known if other countries will follow this trend.

Looking cool, but I'll hang onto my black ones for now. At least they're not purple.

I think I'll keep with my gray Intec controllers for now, my hands fit better with them.

These are perfect for use with the Wii! They are white! (in case you didn't notice).

Cool! But I wish the gamecube controller port part on the Wii was white.

Purple controllers FTW.

They match with the Wii but I don't care if they don't sell them here. I like my silver controllers just fine.

It's not purple! It's indigo! I'm just kidding.

I wanted Nintendo to do this for a long time, but why not just redo the Wavebird with rumble. I'm not an engineering major, but I'm sure that they could have optimized the circuitry to allow good battery life with rumble. It doesn't even have to be bluetooth. Nintendo could obviously do better because Sony is releasing 'obsolete last gen' tech for more than double the price. The Wii white pad is hard to pass up though.

I think these are the best gamecube controllers out there. If the cords are long at least.

They also have a 3M long cord, which is about 1 trillion times the length of normal.

Gamecube pads are the best controllers of any console ever, they work brilliantly.

I never thought of getting a white one but I'm going to now, its color matches my wii's.

Ya it makes sense. As eric said, it's the same colour so it would look good.

I'm surprised that they didn't make a white Wavebird, since everything Wii is supposed to be wireless?

Those will go nice with my jap Wii and I'll just use the retro with my american Wii.

I had a limited edition white gamecube and white cube pad. I had the uk mario football bundle, the white was by far the best looking colour for the cube pad. They're collectible now, but I had to sell mine after my bank account was defrauded just to get something to eat. NO LIE, a gamecube saved me from starvation. The welfare state didn't give a hoot about me, long story now, in the past. Just got myself a 5 bedroom, yard mtv style, well maybe not. My hdtv and Wii and cable tv all hooked up ready to chill.

I hope they make wireless.

Didn't know this site was so racist. Purples are people too.

This is pretty cool. I burnt through my original gc one the first week brawl came out and had to buy a generic gamestop controller. But maybe I'll buy one of these to match my Wii.

Hmm, I guess it is lighter. Still, I think I'll stick with black and silver. They are teh uber pwnz lulz! =D.

I have a purple one. A black one, and a wireless silver one. That white gamecube controller looks nice.

Hopefully they do bring them back from the dead in US, because mine are starting to act up. Damn you SSBB. Too damn addicting, you're killing my controllers. Its like freaken cat nip for cats.

I think they are cool because they have an extended 3 meter cord instead of 6 feet. However, I wish they still would bring back the wavebird.
