John Riccitiello, the CEO at EA has revealed a Wii version of hit game Rock Band is coming. When asked about Rock Band Wii he said:
"EA will, at some time, bring Rock Band to every important platform. I think the Wiimote is something that holds enormous promise".
This wasn't an actual official statement but others at EA have confirmed it too. No clues as to a release date at this stage though.

Epsilon, I REALLY want Bioshock. Do you think they could (I'm not saying they would) port it to Wii? Maybe the water and graphics would be tuned down, but think for a second: you could beat up little girls, and actually feel like you're doing it. Awesome. Jack Thomson would love it.

I really hope it's just like rock band on the other systems and you don't use the wiimote and nunchuck for drumsticks or anything like that. Other than that, this is going to be awesome, I can't wait.

I was hyped up about this game too but then went into instant depression when I later read that it's an exact port of the ps2 version, graphics wise and features wise. The picture might look good but live game play is just like ps2. And there will be no downloadable songs or online play. So I'm just going to wait for guitar hero 4.
