Users of other downloadable game services may take free demos for granted, but so far this is something yet to appear on WiiWare. Things may be about to change, as in a Q&A session with investors, Satoru Iwata said Nintendo would be putting up a few of their own WiiWare games as downloadable demos for gamers to try.
WiiWare demos are said to start appearing towards the end of the month, but currently there are no details on which region(s) this will happen in, or which games will feature.

This is great! I haven't downloaded any WiiWare games yet, and now that I'll be able to play demos for free, that's.. great! They need to do this with games like they do with the Xbox 360. Memory size shouldn't matter, considering the demos have less memory than the game, so letting out demos for the Wii could actually work.
