In a way, the Pirates of the Caribbean games have been a metaphor for Jack Sparrow and alcohol. They have some taste and flavor, but are always missing some. This time around, the game tries to augment the rum with the familiar characters, locations and antics that made the...read full review

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

I'm kinda mad when it comes to these low grade graphics. The wii is WAY more capable than what these companies are putting out.
Ferox said:
This looks just like the previous game they did for ps2, lackluster and boring, no real content just a straight forward linear hack and slash. Granted the Wii controller may make it neat, but will that be worth 50 bucks?

HELLO! Gaming over graphics people.
Crystal Lucario said:
Were those graphics supposed to look like they were for the PS2?

"oh noes the graphics" omg the end of the world - low grafix :\.

Is this the first Pirates Of the Caribbean game? I forget.
cmk said:
It doesn't look terrible.
Toober said:
When will there be a good sword fighting game where movements are really simulated? Not just a vertical stroke = big hit and a horizontal stroke = small hit. The Wii was made for more than that.
Bobs Ya Uncle said:
Graphics look ok. Sort of. I agree with TOOBER, when will there be a game where the sword strokes are exactly how you move your hand?
Coryd10 said:
The graphics may suck but gameplay may make up for that.
Fire Emblem Fan 14 said:
I totally agree with the whole graphic thing but I think it's going to be a great game. But I might not get because I have a lot of other games for Wii in mind.
Franksy said:
Maybe I'll get this for my sister's birthday. No definitely.

You will always remember this is the day that you almost caught, "Captain Jack Sparrow!".

The screens look too grainy. I know Wii isn't too focused on graphics but this is just sloppy work.

Well considering spider man was a rip, I hope that this game doesn't suck. But sadly it might.
Zendalf said:
I think it will be like the other 2 and suck. I mean movie games always do. Except for the return of the king 3rd person game.
Name123 said:
If I get this game my friend the "jack sparrow wannabee" will be at my house all the time.
Nova said:
Why is it that the newest 3 screens are better graphically than the last three?
Master Foot said:
Here we go with the gameplay over graphics argument. If the graphics suck, then they suck. All we have to go on are screenshots because the game is not out yet. On release day, we can officially say that PoTC sucks, just like Spiderman 3.

Who's seeing the movie on opening night?

I did, it was long. Very long.
