BEST SERIES NINTENDO HAS! No, I'm serious. This is one of my favorite Nintendo franchises and it's no suprise Wii will have it just like Gamecube.
pielord22 said:
I can't wait till this comes out.
SSBB Master said:
I am getting this game no matter what!
Fludd said:
This will come in a bundle pack you can preorder with an extra controller and other accesories like a carry bag.
Hyrule lord said:
Really Fludd? Please tell me where you can preorder it. I am a big Zelda fan.
Gina the Bat said:
I am so getting this game the DAY it comes out.
Epsilon said:
Bet you'll have to stand in a long line. As for me, I preordered it last year when it was supposed to come out, but maybe I'll get the Wii version instead if it comes with all that stuff.
Hyrule lord said:
Where do you preorder it again!!? Please tell me. I hate to stand in a long line.
JD said:
Hurry up and come out! My opinion is that Ocarina of Time was the best game EVER! I hope this'll be even better.
sonic lover said:
I thought it was going to be a remake of OoT with better graphics but I was wrong.
Hyrule lord said:
Please tell me how to preorder this game PLEASE! I would really hate it if this game is all sold out.
Narnia Wii said:
Judging from what I saw in last year's E3, Twilight Princess looked simply breath-taking. The graphics were super and the gameplay seems impeccable. After seeing the game once again in E3 2006, I can only say - Wow! The graphics are surprisingly better (especially the water); I see why Nintendo decided to delay the game and it was for the better. This game will undoubtedly be the best Zelda game ever, perhaps the best GAME EVER! I just can't wait any longer.
aussie said:
Well down under you can pre-order the console but not games. I have this one pre-ordered for gamecube though, I'm going to end up having both.
Jacob said:
This could be the first game to get a 10/10 by critics on the same day as the system launches!
bobster said:
Judging by the screenshots and what I've heard this is going to be something special.
Hyrule lord said:
Hey Epsilon, where did you preorder this game? And aussie, what do you mean by down under?
Link said:
Hyrule Lord, americans (as well as other countries) sometimes like to refer to Australia as "down under", it's more or less a common name for Australia now.
Hyrule lord said:
Ok I get it Link, but I still wanna know where did Epsilon preorder his copy of this game ^o^
SSBB Master said:
I wonder why Nintendo changed the Twilight Realm. It used to be black and white but now it looks hazy.
Majinpicclo said:
This game rules! It WILL be better than OOT.
Koen van Beeck said:
I'm buying this game at Wii's release date. The power of Nintendo, Zelda, Wii and over 2 years of waiting compels me.
wii man said:
This Zelda is by far the best game they have ever made. My fave game was Ocarina of Time on n64 but now it's this. Oh and what's happening with the Wii and England UK? Because I want to be able to get one.
PANIC! @ the disco!! said:
Nothing can be better than OoT but I think this will be awesome!
JD said:
Actually I think you should tell Hyrule Lord where you preordered it, and also tell me!
Hyrule lord said:
Yeah! And thanks JD for being with me (are you really with me?). And look at the last screenshot, it looks a lot like the market place from OoT.
Rags.exe said:
Well, I'm probably getting it for the GCN and the Wii.
JD said:
Yeah I'm with you Hyrule Lord. But I would still like to know where to get it!
zelda said:
I hope it has some Majora's Mask items.
JD said:
I'd like some Majora's Mask masks. Or another way of saying it would be: I'd like some masks from Majora's Mask.
Hyrule lord said:
Hey Epsilon, how come you haven't appeared for a while? I STILL WANNA KNOW WHERE YOU PREORDERDED YOUR COPY OF THIS GAME!!!!
sword 's stand said:
I doubt there is a pre-order copy for the Wii, but just get the one for Gamecube at Amazon. I pre-ordered it from Amazon and cancelled it because of the Wii version. I'm just gonna wait but I hope they get enough copies for everyone!
Hyrule lord said:
Anyone know why this game is titled Twilight Princess? Who is the Twilight Princess?
Someone cooler than you said:
I heard somewhere that the Twilight Princess might be Zelda.
Epsilon said:
Hyrule Lord: Sorry, been busy lately. I preorderd mine at Gamestop when it was supposed to come out last year. So mine's for the Gamecube, although I'm gonna switch it to the Wii version and get the bundle pack, if what Fludd said was true. Someone cooler than you: Noooo, reeally? Fludd: Where can you get the bundle pack you mentioned?
mhernandez1987 said:
The game of the year. This is going to be one of the first games I get on the wii.
BlankZero said:
This is, quite frankly, my single most anticipated game in video game history. I was all fired up for its GameCube release in April and when I heard that it would be delayed until the late fall, it's safe to say I was more than a little disappointed. But now that I've learned about some of the gameplay aspects added for the Wii version of the game, I'm once again incredibly excited about it. This is definitely going to be among the must-haves for any Wii game collection.
LordRandom said:
This is going straight on my list of games to get with the Wii even though I'm gonna lose a lot of money tomorrow.
metroid lover said:
This game looks better than some of the PS3 and xbox 360 games.
Gamer said:
Oblivion on the xbox 360 might have something to say on that metroid lover.
ganon said:
This game looks totally awesome. I really can't wait, I have read nearly every review. The graphics look awsome. Has anyone got any idea when the wii will be realeased?
metroid lover said:
Nintendo wants to release the wii before the PS3, so it releases in october or the first week of november.
zelda master said:
I know everything about Zelda and I mean everything. I need to play it, I've played all the Zelda games that are out so far.
zelda fan said:
This game's realistic graphics rock. It comes out on the fourth quarter of this year and so does the Wii.
lordrandom said:

Keayu_the_Keaton said:
I can't wait for this game. Eeks those monsters look so real, it's scary.
Blaze said:
The wii and the game are both coming out on the same day so this is gonna kick major arse! And cool jousting.
bentendo said:
This game is going to be bad ass. Some ps2 games get made in the same time period that this game has been delayed for. This game will be better on the cube than any next gen ms or ps3 title. OoT took you to another world and this will do the same, pure ninty gold. Can't wait to open that box and slide my disc into my sexy wii (that don't sound right). Oh well till then I will talk about it on the forums and dream of Hyrule at night. Wii to the future, in Nintendo we trust.
Darunia106 said:
Wow, no one else could express their love for Zelda in such a profound way bentendo, I salute you. But really, my love of video games for me started with the Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past on the Super Nintendo. The first system my family owned and one of the first games I ever played, it's still one of my favorites. The next Zelda game I played was OoT on the N64, blown away again. Ever since I've played and now own in at least one form, every single zelda game to date and they are all amazing to some degree. The only exceptions in my opinion were Zelda II on the NES which departed from the classic formula tremendously and Link's Awakening which was kinda dumbed down and uninteresting (one dungeon you actually had the ability to mess up and start your game over due to it). But still, if the game has remained this awesome with such small blemishes on its record, and Windwaker was still amazing despite the art style, Twilight Princess will be the Half-Life 2 of the next-gen consoles. Viva Nintendo!
Hyrule lord said:
Hey guys I'm back! WOW lots of comments here! Hey Zelda master, did you beat EVERY Zelda game? If you did then whats the ending like for LOZ Majora's Mask?
Blaze said:
In the end of Majora's Mask, Link just leaves on his horse. Skull Kid and his two fairies wave goodbye to Link and the game ends. The thing on the stump playing music in OoT is Skull Kid without Majora's Mask on.
Hyrule lord said:
Thanks Blaze. By the way, does anyone know what kind of instrument Link plays like the Ocorina or the wind waker baton?
Yoh Asakura Rockz said:

Batman said:
This game looks great. A must for all Wii owners.
Jimme said:
@Jacob: Gasp! My RL name, AND my RL opinion?? Have I posted here before? Well as stated, both versions of this will kick major ass, nothing more to say really.
ganondorfrules said:
I think this game is gonna kick butt in the RPG world because Link is the best and Legend of Zelda games are ranked in the top RPG adventure games.
greatqueenfan said:
*imagines wiimote as wind waker baton*. Someday. SOMEDAY!
Nari said:
This game is going to sell so much. I have to say, even though I hate corporate america and corporate everything it would be smart to bring out twilight princess when they start selling Wii, because I would gladly pay 300 or more just to play that one game. They will make so much money off this.
Someone Cooler Than You said:
You know what this game really needs? Sonic.
Freddie Mercury said:
Pfft I can not believe that I did not get a cameo in this game!
Michael said:
This is going to be one of the best games of 2006-2007. I am just a bit worried about the controller, I don't want it spoiling the gameplay. I have played every Zelda game and really don't think that this will be as good as Ocarina of Time. As I and many people have grown up with Link-Zelda so I wonder if we will see any of the old characters. We love you Zelda!
Michael said:
I heard that Link gets beaten by a wolf and you play as the wolf for some of the game.
j dub said:
They just put out bundles (system, extra controller, zelda). I think it said release for early October too. I'm definitely getting it.
PrimeX said:
Oooh a fishing simulator. This game sucks and so do all of you who think it's cool.
Chaos said:
Prime X obviously doesn't get the whole idea of Zelda.
tabsina said:
Primex, have you ever even heard of Nintendo before? Because it's unlikely if you don't know what Zelda is.
Alvis said:
I have beaten so many Zelda games, and the TP coming out soon is something to die for. I have beaten Ocarina of Time (NGC and N64), Zelda, Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, Four Swords (Gameboy and NGC), Link to the Past (Gameboy only), Majora's Mask, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. The only ones that I haven't beaten are Wind Waker and I'm half way through that and the Minish Cap but I can't stand the graphics. I'm struggling my way through them not wanting to play but loving the series and history with them. I freaked out hardcore when TP got delayed. I had a party set up for it and all. Me and a couple of buddies playing it to get as far as we could in one night and throwing in some SSBM every once in a while. Also I'm ready for some Super Smash Brothers Brawl but Twilight Princess will be the best game by Shigeru Miyamoto. Congratulations to him and his series, I live off of them.
some bored guy said:
Hey all of you! Tell me how fast you beat Twilight Princess. I want to know if I can beat it.
Zelda_is_#1 said:
Very exciting.
Zelda_is_#1 said:
Primex, if you hate Zelda why are posting in the Zelda section? You probably have nothing else to do.
Hey said:
Zelda_is_#1, you're right. He just hangs out at the computer doing random things like calling Super Mario Galaxy a First person shooter and Zelda: TP a fishing simulator. Prime X, the fishing is a MINIGAME.
wii thing said:
Yeah Primex do us all a favor and don't get on this website and don't buy a wii.
Hey said:
Also try to use your small brain to look at EVERY screen shot of a game.
Hey said:
I wonder what new weapons there will be. Also, if you can play a musical instrument like in the past games.
Hey said:
Hey "Sword's Stand", you can preorder the Wii version from Best Buy for $49.99.
geekylink said:
The Zelda series rocks! I'm going to have to get this game in order to complete my Zelda collection. Since some people are posting how many Zelda games they've beeten I think I will too: Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, Link to the Past, Ocarina of time, Majora's Mask, Oracle of ages, The Wind Waker, Four swords adventure, Minish cap. The only ones I haven't beat, because I don't have them are Oracle of Seasons, Link's awakening and Four sword.
Wii man said:
Thanks Wii thing. If Primex doesn't think that Zelda is the greatest thing ever then he doesn't deserve to live.
PrimeX said:
Stop talking about me or I'll go tell my mommy and then I'll go play my gameboy advance and I'll play Barbie Horse rescue on my XBox.
Lord Random said:
PrimeX, this is a place for people to talk about what they like and dislike about the Wii and its games, not a place for you to display your stupidity.
wii thing said:
It looks like you can interact with a bunch of people on this game! I can't wait to buy it.

Madvexin said:
Zelda rules; HARD! It's one of the best Nintendo games ever.
Epsilon said:
I personally hope this doesn't have Navi in it though -_-; (Hey listen! Hey listen! Hey listen! *snap*). Sorry to keep you waiting Hyrule lord. I preordered a copy for the Gamecube last year at Gamestop, although it won't be up for preorder until September.
Epsilon said:
O. 0 Sorry to keep you waiting, Hyrule lord. I preordered a copy for the Gamecube last year at Gamestop, although it won't be up for preorder until September.
Hyrule lord said:
Woah, I haven't posted a comment for ages! It's okay Epsilon I'll try to get the bundle pack if what Fludd said is true. By the way, where IS Fludd? Anyway I hope you get your copy soon Epsilon.
ladeda said:
This game doesn't have any instruments. Instead you just use plants, like taking a piece of grass and blowing on it to make the pony come to you.

LoZ was actually voted best game series of all time, with Metroid coming a distant second. Go LoZ!

I want to preorder the wii but I have no money to pay for it when it comes out. So I guess I'm waiting till xmas for it if my parents would get it for me.
Hyrule lord said:
Xmas? Wow, that's pretty far compared to the Wii launch date, at least for me.
Man in Green said:
Do you think Twilight Princess will feel as epic as OoT? Twilight Princess looks awesome but I don't like the weird looking girl that rides Link in wolf form.
Pink-Rose said:
Why can you pre-order the Wii games and not the console?
Hey said:
Call me crazy but Zelda is better than Mario.
Going wee of wii said:
I can't wait for this to come out. I own every Zelda game there is, I am so happy with the screenshots they look awesome.
Ja-Mez said:
I love adventure and fighting games and I got to say, The Legend of Zelda is one of the greatest action packed adventure games ever. THE ENTIRE SERIES! Mario may be Nintendo's icon but his games are too nice! There is no thrill in Mario games so Zelda games kick ass. But Mario Bros games have more characters.
ganondorfrules said:
I prefer Zelda to Mario because there's more storyline to Zelda games. In my opinion Mario is cool and all but it's the same thing most of the time on NGC. It's all against Bowser to a certain degree.
Hey said:
Yes, that is a good point. With games, for me it's all about story. The Zelda series and story have been getting darker and more mysterious, which is really cool.
Darunia106 said:
Well it's been a while since I soaked in exactly what this Zelda game will have, let's see if I hold up. Hmmmmm. One of the greatest game series of all time, great graphics and art style, get to turn into a wolf, an extremely big world, launch game for the Wii, perhaps a Light/Dark world system, and absolutely no sign of Tingle. *elongated silence* *head explodes with glee!*.
Nick said:
This game is going to be killer, new weapons like the new boomer and hawk, the iron boots used to go on the ceiling at some points, also Link being able to turn into a wolf sounds awesome. I have my Wii and LoZTP Pre-ordered from Toys_R-Us already and can't wait for the release. Also with the estimated gameplay time of 75 hours it is well worth your time and money to get this game!
Lickwid said:
I read in an interview that it will take 45 minutes to ride from one end of Hyrule to another. Do you know how huge that is! Hundreds of square miles. I think this game will feel just as epic, but the puzzles might be easier than OoT, because the trend in gaming now is to make games easier so that everyone who buys the game can finish it.
Darunia106 said:
Oh yeah, forgot the new weapons. *Head explodes again*.
Nick said:
Also heard in an interview that there will be MORE puzzle solving than in OoT. That doesn't necessarily mean harder puzzles, but there are sure to be more.
Jhett said:
*Reads Lickwid's post about how big the world is* *Takes off glasses* My god.
Hey said:
I hope there's a new sword. In some pictures he has a simple longsword with a metal hilt, and in some he has the Master Sword. Getting the Biggoron Sword was so awesome (and hard) in Ocarina. It was freakin' twice as strong as the Master Sword!
tabsina said:
Are you sure it was 45 minutes to ride? Because I think it might have been walk/run. Otherwise this game would take way too long.
ganondorfrules said:
Yea I'd say 45 mins to walk or run, maybe a quarter or half the time when riding. In Australia they aren't letting anybody preorder yet, what a bummer.
Lickwid said:
Nope, it's ride. That's why you have the horse from the beginning of the game. At least that's what they say. Believe me, I'll be the first person with a stopwatch beside me when I get the game to verify it. Hey, it has 100 hours of total playable content so the world has to be big.
Nick said:
I'm not sure where, but I did hear it was a long time to ride across the land. Although I'm fairly sure it said it would be full of side quests, if one gets bored along the way! Thank god they let us Preorder our TP's here.
lance said:
Where's Navi?
Nick said:
Navi is most likely not making a return. Instead of Navi you will have a guide named Midna, a little imp-like creature. I know it comes with you in the twilight realm, but will it be in the regular realm too?
Lickwid said:
There is a fairy in the Wii version of the game, but it is simply called the on screen cursor by developers. I guess it's more of a practical tool than a main character.
Darunia106 said:
This is one game I'm definitely getting at launch. There's been so much positive info about this game, from Link's alternate wolf form to the massive size of Hyrlue, what on earth isn't to like about it? The only bad news I can think of them announcing is another delay, which is highly unlikely.
singapore_meh said:
Go ahead and hate me, but I was never really able to get into Ocarina of Time. I'm more of a "Link to the Past" guy and I didn't really like Wind Waker either. I'm hoping this'll be the Zelda to get me into the 3rd dimension.
Darunia106 said:
Actually Singapore, I felt the same way when I played OoT, but the game has grown on me and is one of my favorites, but it can never replace LttP, that game is classic. Here's to hoping that TP will set the new standard.
elephant.stone said:
This is a definite launch purchase for me (and everyone else).
wii-mote dude said:
Oh, singapore dude, this is going to get you hooked on zelda just like it's going to get me hooked. Look at those graphics while link's swimming! I am so excited. I mean, hyrule looks like an actual city now!
tabsina said:
Well I'm not sure if everyone knows but that 45mins was to RIDE across, however it was a *rumour*. Concerning Midna, she will be a part of the normal realm, but I won't say how just in case people don't want to hear/read about spoilers.
zeldaicflame said:
Personally I really don't want to get the Wii version of the game, I think it will be too hard and could spoil the gameplay. So really I'm going to get it on Gamecube. Though I really can't believe the size of the world!
shiken said:
I thought at first that Midna was Link's fairy. I think that would have been cool, but I was wrong.
Captain Jamesman said:
You know what's a little strange about Twilight Princess? It's that the Wii version of the game is coming out first. I know because I pre-ordered the Gamecube version. I got a messege from EB saying that the Wii version is coming out in November & the Gamecube version coming out in December!
Nick said:
Now that they say the bow is going to be on the B button, you must get the bow very early in the game. They wouldn't leave a main button like that out for long.
tabsina said:
It seems Midna will be Link's fairy in a sense. Just doesn't look like one.
DarkVic said:
This is going to be the greatest Zelda game of all time. It's such an imaginative story. Link is the greatest Nintendo icon.
DarkVic said:
(Next to mario).
milkman844 said:
To answer a few questions, they did change the Twilight Realm. Before it was almost completely grey and kind of boring but they added color and whatnot. As for a fairy, there won't actually be one in the game but the pointing reticule acts as one. If you look at game footage the pointer is actually a fairy. As for Midna, she's the little imp that rides you when you're a wolf in the Twilight Realm. In the normal realm she appears in an "alternate" form, which I won't spoil for you. Let's just say she's linked to Link's new sword which isn't the master sword. As for instruments, I don't think you have an actual item, because in the demos I just pick up random flowers and blow on them to make tunes. You can summon a hawk and Epona in this way. It looks like this is going to be better even than OoT, the best game ever to this date. Definitely the first game I'm getting. The storyline seems amazing. The Zelda games always have the best storylines. And to those insane sony fanboys who say that the Big-N is only for kids and has crappy graphics, LoZ:TP will shut 'em up good.
milkman844 said:
By the way, does anyone know what the targeting system is like? Will it be the same as Oot and MM because those were the best. So simple and easy to use.
hyrule master said:
This game looks awesome, I am getting it no matter what the price.
DarkVic said:
The gameplay is going to be exquisite. Once again, LOZ has made another debut. I salute you!
Ja-Mez said:
Nintendo, do you think you could make a movie on this?
Captain Jamesman said:
I'm not really a big Zelda Fan but I do have The Legend of Zelda Complete Animated Series DVD Box Set. Too bad Tingle won't be in Twilight Princess though.
Riley C. said:
Tingle isn't in TP? *dances and sings* Halleluja!
tabsina said:
I hope they don't make a movie out of this. Noone could possibly act him out because that would mean giving him a voice. And Link should never have a voice. DarkVic, I think this is the first time LOZ has ever made it for a launch (not sure if that is what you meant by "debut" though).
milkman844 said:
Anyone know if Koji Kondo is composing the music for this? The music he did for OoT and MM is still the best as far as I'm concerned.
Jake said:
This is going to be the best game ever I swear. I love Zelda games, I have clocked every single one of them and I can't wait to play this. It's going to be the 1st game I get on Wii.
Man in Green said:
A movie based on Zelda would ruin the franchise, remember the Zelda animated series? Link's not supposed to talk anyway, so it would look weird having the main character not speak throughout the whole movie. Anyway, I "KNOW" this game has many huge secrets about the storyline, gameplay and features we don't know about. Let's name some stuff we think. I'm sick of the same old comments on here.
King Bobby said:
To pass the time until I can play this wonderful game, I'm playing Link's awakening on gameboy color (I don't like GBC games on GBA, even though I have one). Days left: 1 month, 13 days until launch. 2 months, 19 days until Christmas.
ganondorfrules said:
And we don't know who the villain is. I'm having a guess like maybe Midna, I know he's Link's guide and he rides Link when he's in wolf form but it's my opinion it may be possible. I don't think Ganondorf would be in this one.
tabsina said:
Yes that's right SHE could be the villain, but as you said SHE's the guide so it would be a good plot twist. However, I'm quite sure Ganondorf will be in this one. In fact, there isn't a doubt in my mind.
Man in Green said:
I think Midna is the Master Sword's soul.
DarkVic said:
You can't not love LOZ. It's such a beautiful and imaginative game. TP is sure to be the greatest Zelda game ever!
Nick said:
Ganandorf is in this game. He is in the characters list and this quote was taken from Nintendo; "preparing more than you could possibly ever, ever, ever expect".
special kid said:
I can't wait but how come it always starts off the same way?
tabsina said:
What do you mean it starts off the same way? This time Link starts as a cowboy or ranchboy or something like that, it has never started like that before.
reinforcements said:
This is going to kick some major ass, it makes the Wii worth the $250 alone.
Brian said:
Zelda is a great franchise no matter what, and I'm glad it's only on the Wii, not on the crappy PS3 (that sucks) or the worthless 360.
Nintendo Represent said:
The game will have many amazing features. As well as breath taking graphics and using full advantage of the wii remote.
Wii will kill said:
I don't think the wii has much competition. Especially with the Xbox 360, who would want to buy a 500 disk melter? And Sony has lost so much respect copying all of Nintendo's ideas. With the Wii having Twilight Princess I don't think they have to worry much.
WIIPING FOR WII said:
I hope this game is three times longer than Ocarina of Time because that was one of the many things I loved about it, its length, the intense puzzles, the story plot. I hope this game will still have the triforce and master sword in its plot, otherwise it just wouldn't feel like Zelda. And guys stop talking about its plot, I don't want to know about anything until it comes out LALALALALA. I'm not reading your comments LALALALA!
dark ninja said:
Nintendo has been holding this back for a long time but it will be worth the wait. The gameplay and graphics are stunning. I will be playing this for months straight. A must buy.
I may be wrong said:
But in an interview, Miyomato-san stated that although Tingle wouldn't be in this game, his cousin would. Tingle Tingle Koloo limpa-AWAY!
Wii-Worshiper said:
I have not posted anything on this game so I think i'll do it now. THIS GAME RULES. It must be so cool when you are riding your horse and those warthog riders come. Hehe I want this game on launch!
aussie kid said:
Yea I want the game on Wii but when I went to EB games today the price for Twilight Princess was $199 and I went to the ebgames website in the US and it had it for $49. Now I'm not a rocket scientist but I think that if you convert 49 US dollars to aussie dollars you should get a price tag of around 89. Can anyone please give any insight into this matter?

I hope to God this game has nothing even remotely to do with The Windwaker. That game still haunts me in my sleep to this day, and I've only seen it played once, maybe twice. Anyways, I'm sure this game is going to kick ass. As long as it has nothing to do with The Windwaker.
waiting for wii said:
I've had mine reserved for a long time now. I'm not going to sleep until I beat it too. The graphics are friggin awesome.
tabsina said:
Aussiekid, in australia I'm quite sure none of the games will go over $109, and that is only third parties. Nintendo will limit at $100, and I suspect that zelda will be $89 as you said.
ausie said:
Oh yea another sweet zelda game. Only I hope this one will keep me amused until the next one comes out.
Hey said:
Aw shut up Scooby Jew! The Wind Waker tried something new because Nintendo had the cojones to do it. Wind Waker was an awesome game, even if it was a bit easy.
waiting for wii said:
It's coming so slowly. On Nov 19 I'm going to run in, get my Wii, my copy of T.P and run home as fast as I can. God I can't wait to play Zelda on Wii.
Scooby!_ Jew said:
I'll admit that Nintendo did try something new (as they've always done) and that does take some "cojones" to do, but it was a massive failure in my opinion. It ruined LOZ as we know it, I'm hoping they make everything right with this one (which I'm sure they will).
waiting for wii said:
Wind waker made fun of zelda. I can't stand it. I agree with you all the way scooby !_jew. I hope wind waker dies and gets buried with its memories.
Hey said:
Sniff. Nobody agrees with me! Why would someone make fun of their own game intentionally? Ok, it was kind of like a "My first Zelda Game", I admit it. It was really fun though! Besides, cojones is a cool word. It's fun to say!
tabsina said:
I have been a Zelda fan since the originals and I absolutely loved Wind waker. You have to be a little more open-minded, obviously anything you see that's remotely cartoonish is immediately rubbish.
Minitalon said:
At least in the Wind waker Link actually had some kind of expression. I loved that game and actually played through both quests. The toon style fits the game nicely even though it's easy.
Dan said:
This game is going to be AMAZING!
Hitaman2507 said:
Legend! Link is just a legend. This is the reason I want a Wii (and the other stuff, but you know).
zelda freak said:
He gets sucked into the twilight and turns into the wolf and I heard rumors that that girl on his back is his pet from the real world. Anyway also the twilight princess is Zelda and yes the legendary Ganondorf will be in this. If you guys are wondering about the legendary weapon the master sword it is also in, it but unfortunately you start out with a bigger more realistic version of the sword you have in the beginning of wind waker. In Nintendo we trust.
tabsina said:
If I didn't know all that already, I'd be pretty mad at you right now zelda freak. Try to be a little more subtle about the spoilers.
Ablex said:
Some of you'll sue me for saying this, but I loved Wind waker and of course I really enjoyed OoT. But I could never really get into Majora's Mask.
zelda said:
Is the zelda version for wii going to have better graphics than the gamecube version?
Owlboy said:
Same here ablex, it felt too small and confined, however the mask morph ability was pretty sweet.
Epsilon said:
Why would we sue you? I didn't find Majora's Mask to be as great either. Probably because you had to transform so much and relive three days over, and over, and over.
pielover 202020 said:
Zelda is one of the most exciting and origanal fantasy rpg that has ever graced my eye holes.
Milkman844 said:
I like MM. Sometimes the three days cycles pissed me off but it made the game challenging. And Zelda Freak. Where are you getting that insane info? The girl on his back is not a pet, Zelda is not the twilight princess, Ganon may not be in it, and the first sword you get is completely new, the Orodon sword, not the WW one. The only thing you got right is that the master sword will reappear.
BrothaZ said:
Anyone see the new trailer? I think that masked guy is Ganon! I know he might not be in it, but WHO THE HELL ELSE!?! Besides, it would follow the story line. Ganon breaks the seal after MM but before WW, that's where TP takes place. It WILL NOT FIT if Ganon is gone. If it's vaati, that will kill the 3D series. He's only in NON-3D Zelda games. Skull kid was like a damn ape in MM, I made sure to shoot that itchy ass of his so he'd never live with purpose again. Someone new would be weird. So that's it. Ganon will more than likely make the shelves. Anyway, Midna wasn't exactly necessary to add in to the game as far as I know. The twilight princess is probably Zelda, she's apparently a captive in the twilight world. The masked man is guarded by 2 black things. Shows that he's important, he's probably captured her and trying to force her to become the twilight princess itself. The ONLY difference between the Wii and Gamecube versions is in the Wii, Link is right handed. In GCN he's still left.
jimmy said:
Well those evil porthole monster things are probably trying to break Ganon's seal.
BIG C said:
I would be very impressed if Nintendo can top OoT with TP. I would like it to but I'm very optimistic about it. If any of you haven't play OoT I highly advise you to.
tabsina said:
Brotha2, it's the Twilight King behind the mask, that might be Ganon but he has been dubbed Twilight King. And there is more difference between the two versions, Wii uses the slash of the wiimote to attack or the pointer to fire long range and also the use of the wiimote speaker. It's not only that he is right handed, the whole game has been mirrored.
Milkman844 said:
Not only is Link just right handed, but everything in the game is mirrored. Also the wii version runs in 16:9 widescreen while GCN doesn't. I think the graphics are also improved, and the most obvious difference, the crazy awesome new control mechanics, make the Wii version a hundred times better.
Captain Jamesman said:
Big whoop! Who cares who the villain is, as long as the game has good gameplay. I heard that Zelda will be playable in this. Plus I heard Tingle will have his own game!
Sonic Fan said:
As much as I like The Twilight Princess on Wii, I think I'll just get the GameCube version of it.
I Love Zelda! said:
I too have been a Zelda fan since I was in like first grade. The wind waker was cartoony and I really didn't like that, but the storyline was absolutely fantastic. I hope the twilight princess is like windwaker but more mature with graphics and the storyline (when I say mature I don't mean rated M stuff). Zelda, hooray!
Nick said:
There's a good chance the Twilight King is Ganon. There is a Gerudo symbol on his chest!
link masta said:
Wow! I love Zelda games. I played all the games and beat them, I can't wait until it come out. I can't stop thinking about Zelda Twilight Princess!
milkman844 said:
It looks like the navi reticule is a bit useless. You never really use it for anything, except when you aim with the bow and stuff. They could've made it that there is only the reticule when you need it for something.

I wish time would fast forward.
i need a wii...eww said:
Have any of you noticed some pictures are misty? So Nintendo have thought about weather changes.
wii-mote dude said:
I hear ya, floopy. This game will be totally awesome. I can't wait to smack people with my sword in this.
Link said:
Shnaaaaaaaaaaaz!
BrothaZ said:
Yah, I heard there are some more differences between the 2 consoles. That sux, because I'm forced to get the GCN version because of my damn parents!
floopy doop said:
Dude, I think this is the best site for gaming info on the net. Talk to people, rate games, it's all good.
floopy doop said:
Why does it have to come out so late for the US?
milkman844 said:
What are you talking about floppy doop? Not only does Wii land in north america first, but Zelda is a launch title.
Escaflowne said:
Nothing but good clean family fun here.
Rurouni Tidus said:
Hmm you guys are lucky. I have to wait 'till 8 December before I can get my hands on one of the best video games in all time, and the Wii. The waiting is unbearable, still 19 days to go!
nintendo fan said:
Yep I'm getting both the system and the game in December.
SOBS said:
Here's a thought everyone. What if they release OOT on the virtual console but update the controls to allow Wii remote use. Sweet.
Wii man Z said:
This game is awesome. I love playing as a wolf!
Genevieve said:
My sister is playing on the game right now, she's freaking out! The Wii remote is awesome, better than I expected it to be and it's super easy to use. Zelda kicks ass.
New Wii-land said:
If the Wii came out and the only game you could ever buy was this, I'd still buy it. Zelda is a fantastic game. I got ocarina of time, master quest and wind waker and I don't even own a gamecube that's how much I love these games. I got myself a N64 just to play ocarina of time.
link masta said:
It is fun playing as a wolf, but I like playing better as normal Link. The water suit is awesome.
Wiikid said:
This game is tight! Though a word to all of you, buy a strategy guide, this game can get a little confusing at times.
Nick said:
This game is definitely great, as I had expected. No need to go out and buy a guide though. There are plenty on gaming sites, if needed (for free).
dying for wii said:
I just got this game. Now I just need a Wii. The wait is killing me.
Milkman844 said:
Why would you ever even get a guide? Half the fun in any zelda game is the puzzles, and the neat subquests and secrets.
Hey said:
Yeah I feel your pain, dying for Wii. I got the game from the store knowing that it would sell out immediately, but didn't win the lottery to buy the console. Now all I can do is hug my game and pretend I have a Wiimote in my hand.
McPhuck said:
After 8 years of fun I am finally sick of ocarina of time. If this one lasts I'll be 23 before I get sick of it. I LOVE Nintendo!
Black Winter said:
This game is amazing I bought it with my Wii at launch and I love it!
DarkVic said:
Smart move from Nintendo to make this a launch title.
wiiman said:
This game is so fun. And don't buy a guide, there are free guides online. Don't waste your money. This is even better than ocarina (which is hard to do because ocarina rocked).
