The hardware sales figures for January 2009 are in, courtesy of the NPD group. *SPOILER ALERT* Nintendo wins again!

  2. Nintendo DS - 510,800
  3. Xbox 360 - 309,000
  4. Sony PS3 - 203,200
  5. Sony PSP - 172,300

Big N laughin' all the way to the bank. As if that wasn't enough, they've dominated the software chart for the month too:

  1. Wii Fit (Wii, by Nintendo) - 777,000
  2. Wii Play (Wii, by Nintendo) - 415,000
  3. Mario Kart Wii (Wii, by Nintendo) - 292,000
  4. Left 4 Dead (360, by EA) - 243,000
  5. Call of Duty: World at War (360, by Activision) - 235,000
  6. Skate 2 (360, by EA) - 199,000
  7. Guitar Hero World Tour (Wii, by Activision) - 155,000
