Noah of Nintendo Bunker said:
This game looks interesting. Donkey Kong has potential and it's about time he made a comeback.
Someone cooler than you said:
Anyone have any pictures of the game?
gimp said:
Well, considering this is not the real title and that the release date is unknown, there probably are none. Let's just hope you dont use a bongo in this one.
Ja-Mez said:
Noah's rite, DK has been missing from the Nintendo scene for a long time. Let's hope this game recovers him from that stupid Donkey Conga.
kiki itachi said:
Donkey Konga was cool, you dork.
Zigg said:
If it's just called Donkey Kong, let's hope it's a Mario game, where you have to save the princess. Heck, that's what the real DK games were about, before Donkey Kong Country came along.
random guy said:
I hope this game is like Donkey Kong Ccountry 4 on the old systems.
Krakko said:
Yeah they don't own Rare any more so this is going to suck. Rare made all the classic Donkey Kong snes games and DK 64, how can they replace them?
kiki itachi said:
Krakko got a point, but somehow I think Nintendo will manage.
Lord Random said:
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat was alright, but a real smeg to control. Seeing how well the Wiimote works with most of the games, this should be a good DK comeback. *starts singing* DK, Donkey Kong! DK, Donkey Kong is here!
Lord Xenu said:
He's the leader of the bunch, you know him well. He's finally back, to kick some tail! His coconut gun can fire in spurts. If he shoots ya, it's gonna hurt! He's bigger, faster and stronger too. He's the first member of the D.K. Crew, HUH! Awesome game.
DK said:
Ooog oog oooog! *hits translating machine* That's better. Anyways, thanks all for reviewing my game. I'm not going to reveal anything in case Miyamoto-San sends me to the zoo as punishment. But anyway, I hope you all enjoy- oog oog. *hits it again* Hope you all enjoy it.
'Cooler Than You said:
DK spoke english in Donkey Kong 64.
Lord Random said:
Do you EVER give up? Stop nit-picking at RP'ers and live with it. Didn't hear me? I'll repeat it. LIVE WITH IT!
Lord Xenu said:
I don't recall him speaking english in the 64 version, but anyways... can I hug you DK?
DK said:
Ooog. *hits translator madly* I'd like to say ok but I might suffocate you. Sorry. Oh, what the heck. *hugs Lord Xenu*
Hey said:
Will you sing the DK Rap for me?
splintercell4ever said:
Maybe they could do R Kelly as the voice of DK during the monkey rap.
Wii man said:
This game is going in the direction of the N64 Version. Which means it is going to do better on the Wii than on the G-Cube.
Wiimote said:
I hope they release the DK Country titles in the virtual console, they rocked on SNES.
Donkey K. said:
Donkey Kong Country, the best game on Nintendo ever. Sad if no new DK comes.
Lor said:
Splintercell4ever, how can you even stand to think such disgusting thoughts? Honestly, R Kelly doing the DK rap? You ae seriously deranged. There's no way a crap rapper will be asked to do work with Nintendo. If they DO get a rapper to do it, it'll most likely be 50 Cent or someone, in which case I'll kill myself.
Ja-Mez said:
Here we go! So he's finally here, performing for you! If ya know the words you can join in too! Put ya hands together, if ya want to clap! As we take you through this monkey rap! Huh! DK! DONKEY KONG! He's da leader of the bunch, you know him well, he's finally back to kick some tail. His coconut gun, can fire in spurts, if he shoots ya, it's going to hurt! Huh! DK! DONKEY KONG! DK! DONKEY KONG IS HERE!
Ja-Mez said:
This Kong's got style, so listen up dudes! She can shrink in size, to suit her mood. She's quick and nimble when she needs to be, she can float through the air and climb up trees. If you choose her, you'll not choose wrong, with a skip and a hop, she's one kool Kong! Huh! DK! DONKEY KONG! DK! DONKEY KONG IS HERE!
Ja-Mez said:
He has no style, he has no grace. This Kong has a funny face! He can handstand, when he needs to, inflate himself just like a balloon! This crazy Kong just digs this tune! Huh! DK! DONKEY KONG! DK! DONKEY KONG IS HERE!
Ja-Mez said:
He's back again, and about time too! And this time he's in the mood! He can fly real high with his jetpack on, and with his pistols out he's one tough Kong! Youl make a smile when he plays his tune, but Kremlings beware because he's after you! Huh! DK! DONKEY KONG! DK! DONKEY KONG IS HERE!
Ja-Mez said:
And finally he's here for you, it's the last member of the DK crew. This Kong's so strong it isn't funny, can make a Kremling cry out for mummy. He can pick up a boulder with relative ease, makes crushin rocks seem such a breeze. He may move slow, he can't jump high, but this Kong's ONE HELL OF A GUY! C'mon Cranky, take it to the fridge! W-W-W-Walnuts, peanuts, pineapple smells! Grapes, melons, oranges and coconut shells! Ah yeah! Walnuts, peanuts, pineapple smells! Grapes, melons, oranges and coconut shells! Phew that was hard to type!
Lord Random said:
Kind of spawns the idea for Nintendo Karaoke, dunnit? Mind you, Ninty don't have that many vocal songs do they? Oh well, never mind.
splintercell4ever said:
Hey Lor, it was a JOKE. And I'd go for Jay-z than G-Unit. As for Ja-mez, you wasted thirty seconds of my life.
Lord Random said:
I didn't say I wanted 50 cent on it, I said that's who'd most likely be on it. Hopefully they won't though, if they do I'll kill myself.
Lil' Johnny said:
Mommy, these guys are singing the DK rap! It makes my stomach tingle and quiver like the time I ate Uncle Bob's chilli.
911 said:
What's with Donkey Kong being the good guy? In the very original games Donkey Kong was evil! Well at least DK rap is not as bad as Green Day.
dK Repper said:
I think it's almost time for a TRUE sequel to DK64. A real nice new jump and run adventure with kremlings and all.
swiit said:
It just gets better and better, first Mario and Zelda, then Metroid, Super Smash Bros with Snake and lots of third party support. Now Donkey Kong, all on release (hopefully). I think Nintendo have finally pulled all their amaizng talent into one package.
Luke said:
Yes, another Mario-Related game! I was worried when I heard there were only 3 (Super Mario Galaxy, SSB:Brawl& Wario Ware). Now there's Mario Strikers Charged and Donkey Kong.
p-nut said:
It'll be cool to use the wiimote to control Donkey Kong.
Unknown said:
Please be a sequel to DK64.
Riley said:
Luke this is probably a game like Donkey Kong Country, no Mario in it. I want to play a good 3d Donkey Kong game like Dk64 (well I never played it before but I saw a clip of it and it looked fun), not all this Donkey Konga crap!
Nick said:
DK needs a good comeback, DK64 was probably one of my favorite games. I hope they stick to that theme and let you choose your character. I have to admit my favorites are Diddy Kong and Lanky Kong.
dK Repper said:
It MUST be a Sequel to DK64. Simply because the Donkey Konga Series and even DK Jungle beat weren't able to bring Nintendo the success and money they wished for. But DK64 was able. Simply: Nintendo will bring us a new DK Jump and Run for its own good business.
Frumious said:
Boo Yah! DK is coming back.
DK said:
In this game, you are meee oooh-ohh-ooohhh yahoooooo ooh ooh! *gets smacked by Miyamoto-san* oooohhhh!
ladeda said:
This game sounds like it may have even more success than the 64 version, but it will be very hard to top that game since it is such a classic.
Captain Jamesman said:
You know, I think this game is really going to be DK Bongo Blast that was said to be on Gamecube.
ladeda said:
Well then that sucks, I was looking forward to something like the 64 version where you can have a normal good vs Bad game instead of a keep the beat game. Plus isn't Nintendo done with that type of stuff? Because they are announcing that they're making one more Donkey Konga. Why would they start the same franchise again if they are just ending it? If you ask me changing the name won't really do much to improve its success.
DarkVic said:
All the donkey kong games were awesome! Unfortunately the series dropped like a rock because of that konga crap. I hope this one isn't a mimic.
Captain Jamesman said:
The bongo stuff was cool. Don't you dare disrespect the way of Donkey Konga or any DK bongo related game. I should give you 3 lumps on the head! In fact (pulls out computerized hammer).
Must..have..wii said:
Awesome! Loved the SNES DK's and was obsessed with DK 64. I never played Konga so I'm not going to give any opinions on that, but I would much rather have an awesome adventure game instead of a bongo simulator. Please satisfy our DK needs Nintendo!
DarkVic said:
DK 64 was by far the greatest Donkey Kong game ever. It was a classic platformer with a great story and vast levels. I hope this one is a sequel!
Captain Jamesman said:
Call me crazy if you want, but I can tell that this is really going to be Bongo Blast.
DarkVic said:
It's a platformer dumbass!
WiiFan15 said:
No I'm pretty sure it's a racer.
Splintercell4ever said:
NO Donkey Kong Country was the best Donkey Kong game ever.
joe said:
WiiFan15 you are right it is a racer .
BrothaZ said:
If he doesn't beat anyone with a banana or a stick, I'm not buying.
Donkey Kong! said:
I agree that DK64 was the best DK game.
floopy doop said:
How'd donkey kong get a name with donkey in it?
Markus said:
Two things I have heard. 1) His name was going to be Monkey Kong but due to a bad phone call it is Donkey Kong. 2) It means stupid monkey.
wiiman900 said:
I hope we don't use the wiimote to play the drums.
I went wii said:
I doubt it'll be like the original because the original is on VC.
jskrdude said:
No Bongos! That was kind of depressing.
Donkey Kong! said:
I hope they introduce new Kongs.
itstimetoplaydawii said:
I would seriously love swinging on vines with the wii-remote.
wiiman said:
I think donkey kong needs some credit for Nintendo. Bring him back with a whole new concept but at the same time keep it like the old donkey kong for the n64 which rocked. When it comes out I will definitely buy this.
DarkVic said:
I checked up on Gamespot and unfortunately the new Donkey Kong game for the Wii is a racer called Taru jet race. Darn it! Why can't they make a classic platformer game. Those are the games where Donkey Kong actually shows potential.
wiiman said:
Are you sure dark vic of that? Because no info has yet been released about this donkey kong. The last game I think was a racer game. Which you might have confused it with. Check again because it think that's false.
Donkey Kong! said:
It better not be a racer.
