I personally didn't like RE4 too much, and I'm not saying the game is bad or anything because everyone else I've talked to loves it so I know it's just me. I liked the old feeling of Resident Evil more on the side of puzzle solving and fixed camera angles making the environment look much more real and scary. But I am looking forward to a RE4 style resident evil on the wii with the different controls and functions and whatnot.

I played through RE4 and I wasn't really freaked out, but more extremely tense (the controller was drenched in sweat). But the game was really awesome, hope that this one kicks as much butt if not more-so.

I have to kind of agree with M! Just because I can see his point of view. Everyone is acting like RE4 was the first Resident Evil made. But really there were many great ones before that. Claire and Leon hit the Raccoon City Police Department beat again. Jill and Carlos fight their way out of Raccoon City and finally, Leon and Ada reunite in that ill-fated Spanish village. There will also be unlockable characters and each character has their own unique weapons and melee attacks. This sounds awesome!

The only thing I know about Resident Evil is the sexy Jill Valentine. Don't take it the wrong way please! Anyway, I've never played Resident Evil before except a little bit of #2. However, Jill is a playable character in my favorite fighting game, Marvel VS Capcom 2. I think she was one of the first playable characters.

I wouldnt go as far as saying RE4 ruined the whole series. I thought the storyline was really good, graphics were good. Leon's dialogue sucked, but it was portrayed pretty well. I started playing again and I'm actually much more interested this time around, maybe there will be a change of opinion yet. But it still won't be better than re0 or re1 remake for gc. I'm just more of a puzzle person rather than a bang bang person. Although I still do enjoy doing the bang bang portion quite a bit.

Resident Evil, one of the greatest series ever created, Resident Evil 4 ruled and PS whined and got it to which is bs because they then bought the rights for RE5 which has Chris Redfield and sum crazy lookin stuff. But luckily the Wii gets a classic RE game featuring old school and new, now that is sweet, can't wait for all the stories.
