Meh
Well, am I disappointed. This was one of the few times I have disregarded all review sites and purchased a game universally despised by reviewers. That was a mistake. Ha! I'm probably going to avoid doing that for a while as this game was a waste of time and money, but also gave...read full review

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

I hope they are not trying to make a zelda rip-off, looks cool though.

This game is going to rock. Can't wait for more news.
Captain Jamesman said:
A friend of mine that works at EB Games in San Leandro said it's very possible that they will put Link in this. If that's true, then I'll get it.
Sonif Fan said:
Is that the only reason you're getting Soul Calibur CJ? Or do you have something else in mind.
Elementrat said:
Don't buy a game solely because of what character is in it. Buy it if you really like the concept, gameplay, graphics etc.
Captain Jamesman said:
Well. I do have Soul Calibur 3 (even though it's only for PS2 and doesn't have Link). Other than that, my friend really wants me to get this because it has Talim. But hey, I might get it, even if it doesn't have Link.
Orez said:
I hope nightmare only will be in it and have his sc2 move set, because I mastered him I sc2, but in sc3 they divided his moves between himself and siegfried. Then I sucked heh heh.
Lady X said:
I don't only want to play with nightmare so I hope they keep everybody and add some more people. I hope it's like a SW or DW type of game but fun. I do like this franchise but the 2D fighting should be 3D I think, that would be fun. Maybe a little online play, this game would be the bomb.
BrothaZ said:
I hope you can make your own dude as you could on SC3.
Captain Jamesman said:
I just got word, the main character is Siegfred.
Zendalf said:
Can you say holy crap sweet! Beautiful screens.
Ferox said:
How the hell does LINK fit into the Soul Calibur legend. This ain't a fighting game people by the way. Link in soul calibur. Uck.
Quartz said:
Will get some more Sony and Sega fanboys to buy a Wii in all likelyhood, so this is good news.
droop4 said:
Link's real genre is not fighting, but the adventure one. SCL is an action/ADVENTURE. On other news (quote from Nintendo power: "SCL is shaping up to be one of Wii's best looking titles"). And a must have, I must add.
Captain Jamesman said:
This game seems okay in my book.

Has it been announced if link truly will be in this one? I know he was in SC2 on the cube, just curious. I hope they put him in the mix.
WiiNinja said:
Oh boy, another soul caliber game! Nice graphics.
Jonny B said:
Is link going to be in it? If he is I'll pick it up, his new look fits perfect in this soul calibur LEGENDS game.
Name123 said:
It has to be 2 player, I want it to be 2 player.
Patrick said:
I am only buying Soul Caliber Legends if Link is in it. I like the gameplay and stuff but I will only get it if link is there. These sword fighting games wouldn't be the same to me if he wasn't in it. In soul caliber 2 Link was the only character I used and I never lost, so I really hope that he will be in legends. I want to own people again.
icyblizzard said:
Is talim on this game? Because she's my favorite character. I pwn with her.
Captain Jamesman said:
Icyblizzard, I haven't heard anything about Talim being playable, let alone being in it. And by the way, I saw the trailer for the game, and I must say, it was too cool for words alone.
icyblizzard said:
Thanks Captain Jamesman for telling me that. I really love talim and I'll be sad if she's not on the game, but I'll still buy it.
Captain Jamesman said:
You know icyblizzard, you share the same love for Talim like my friend, Pablo lopez.
Minako said:
I'm buying this, definitely. But wow, if it had Link in it, I'd be ALL over it. I have SC2 on GC but for some reason everytime I select Link the game freezes. So uncool. Link, come back! And Talim is a plus as well, I played best with her.
anti-link said:
Oh my god. You people who will only buy the game if link is in it: suck it up. It's like saying that I won't buy need for speed carbon because Mario isn't in it. You should be thankful that you actually have a Wii, for those of us who can't seem to find one in stock. Once again: I don't like your attitudes because link is not even relevant to the SCL let alone SC2. By the way, Talim is my favorite character too. I love her power and speed.
i heart talim said:
I cannot believe that namco totally ostracizes Nintendo GCN by making SC3 only for PS2 and then 2 years later they give us this crap? I mean, come on. The characters look like they stepped right out of the SC2 world (see the official site for costume viewing). If you ask me, this is a lame attempt at utilizing the wiimote. Sorry, but this game isn't for me. Why couldn't they have made something similar to Soul Calibur 4 for the Wii? It's not like the SC series sells any better for PS2 & 3 than GCN and Wii. Actually, Nintendo sales for this game are probably higher.
Insert said:
Yea, I'm with anti-link. Link was just an insignificant prop to attract the less serious Soul Calibur fans. If he came back to SCL, it would be even more irrelevant. Only the really main characters will probably be in the game since it is an adventure and not arena fighting. I also like I heart talim's ideas regarding a Wii version of SC4. Thanks to the people who share the same opinions as me.
SCL said:
Yeah, putting link in the game over more important characters would be such a disgrace.
desdemona said:
Are you kidding? Totally spoiling the tradition of the Soul Series. They could at least have a larger selection of characters, since ISKA is not even selectable.
crazy said:
I so have to save up the money for a Wii. I loved soul calibur on the Dreamcast.
len said:
This game is awesome. If the characters were at least 15 it could have been perfect.
Minako said:
Oh boo hoo. Stop belly aching because some of us would love to have Link there. I didn't say I'm getting it only for him, ya bunch of cry babies! Besides, it seems that Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia is there instead, which I like almost as much because ToS was a great game.
Captain Jamesman said:
I like this game, but many people don't. Why?
desdemona said:
EXCUSE ME, Minako, but you should not buy the game only because your favorite character (who is not even of the slightest relevance to the game), is in it. You should be able to appreciate the gameplay and the concept, no matter what characters are present.
zero said:
How many players can play the game?.
soulcalibur girl said:
I love soulcalibur and all of the rest of the games. Also there was a movie out in 2000 and it was like all of the graphics of the game. I wish I could see that movie but it expired in 2004. Do any of you got the dvd.
