Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

I don't know what this game is or what it's about, but it looks amazing.

Hey, wolf Link brought some of his friends!

This game looks too cool to be true, the graphics are too awesome.
Elementrat said:
My little brother absolutely loves the series so we will probably end up getting it whether or not it's crap. Sigh. Licensed games, why must you disappoint us so often? Hopefully this will be different. I hear the buzz on the Wii Harry Potter is really good.

Looks kind of fun.

Seems like a movie game.

Are these images from the Wii build?
DragonFoxCoon said:
So The Golden Compass is licensed? I've never heard of it. And I agree with Crimson Hawk; are these pre-rendered, made-just-for-the-hype pictures, or are they real in-game shots?

If you didn't see the screenshots, it looks like an arctic racing (like Balto).

They are looking prerendered to me.

Based off an old book (if I remember correctly). Movie coming out at the same time as the game.
WiiNinja said:
Just heard! The movie's coming out on December 7th.
Fire Emblem Fan 14 said:
Movie? Book? They are based on those things and I haven't heard of it. Must not be that good.
WiiNinja said:
The people who did special effects for Lord of the Rings are working on it. Plus, more people have read this book than LotR. I know it'll sell out, the movie, not the game.
WiiDo said:
Saw the movie poster. Looks like a Narnia type movie. Maybe the game will be ok?
Crimson Hawk said:
This looks much like Chronicles of Narnia (not saying that as a bad thing, I love that movie). But when are they making the sequel to Narnia?
Splintercell4ever said:
I think Prince Caspian is coming out in Spring 2008.
Black Fang said:
I've read the first and halfway through the second. I couldn't keep reading after that point because the story itself. I don't see how that that story could become a game. Only two or three parts that could be game worthy compared out of the inch thick paperback.

This was an amazing book, and it will be awesome to have a shape shifting demon friend and a huge polar bear as allies.
Jared said:
It's a good book series. Right now I'm on The Amber Spyglass (if anyone knows what I'm talking about). I hope the movie is good too. The game, however I'm not that confident about because if I remember the book correctly "Shiny" will have to make up random levels completely unrelated to the book.

Terrible book, movie, and game. The story has a sacrilegious freak of an author.
