Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

Can it get any worse than Veggie tales? Maybe they should make a Halo killer instead.
cokie master said:
Why wii? They should have put it on ps3.
THE BIG N said:
I never though it would come to this, Wii will still be rock'en awesome though.
r2d2 said:
This game will decrease wii popularity!
wii fan said:
Why do people waste time on this game? No one will buy it. What little kid is going to spend $50 on veggie tales?
Hey said:
The show is boring also.
TehB0n5lyK1n9 said:
There MIGHT be a reason for it. Hmm let's see. We have RPGs, fighting games, sports, even sim games for hobbyists. What are we missing? KIDS! LITTLE KIDS! It's to INCREASE poularity, Nintendo knows what it's doing.
Toad said:
If they do a Veggie Tales game, soon Dora and Blue will have games on Wii.
coathangerwarrior said:
I think Nintendo knows what they're doing. A large reason why people say that games are too violent is because there isn't much for kids. I know I'm not going to buy it but I'm pretty sure that it won't harm Nintendo's popularity.
splintercell4ever said:
Alright, I would do anything for the adrenaline rush of a pumpkin racing a cabbage. Or seeing the grapes of wrath fighting the tomatoes.
IM THE NUB said:
A game like Mario is what they should focus on more, kids will play it but so will adults. It's because it's fun and not really violent. I think Veggie Tales games should be on the computer since it won't ruin any consoles reputation.
Ja-Mez said:
I don't know what Veggie Tales is (I'm in Australia not America like most of you). But I swear, from what you guys have said about it, it sounds really boring!
Princess Peach said:
Now what!? The next idea they might have is Blue's Clues on Wii!
DarkVic said:
What is this! Veggie tales! This is why Nintendo Gamecube didn't sell. These damn games shouldn't be developed.
ausie said:
Just remember guys, the Wii and its games are intended for everyone everywhere. Even people that like Vegetales. No one said you have to buy it. It's going to make a sweet prezzie for my lil bro.

We just have to stay strong to wii.

Oh God. VeggieTales. Do you think this might start up some religious battles? It's highly doubtful, I know, but it's just crazy enough to happen. Can anyone say "Apocalypse"?
miss_murder said:
I can - "apocalypse!".
Dan said:
Veggie Tales? Are you kidding me!? Is anyone going to actually buy this game?
Amazon Kevin said:
Dear god.
Captain Jamesman said:
Have mercy crave studios. Don't do it! You've already ruined it with the ps2 version.
Sonic Fan said:
I use to watch Veggietales. The only reason why I did is because of Singing Silly Songs with Larry. And I always thought Larry was a pickle instead of a cucumber.
stinky12694 said:
Veggietales is all religious and I don't think some of the non-christian parents will like that. I'm jewish and I'm fine with it, but others may not be fine with it.
floopy doop said:
KID'S GAMES? THAT'S THE ISSUE! I know 5 year old's that play grand theft auto any time they want. Nowadays parents don't give a shit! What the hell?
Harock said:
Veggietales awesome, ahh it brings back memories. Floopy I agree with ya, like come on the age of innocence is gone. I was in a primary school and a third grader was swinging on a poll and some lil kid yelled out do a poll dance and she did, and I'm like WHAT THE F*** dude it's scary. I know when I have kids I won't let them play games like that until they're at least in high school.
O_0 said:
"Hey Suzie, I am your father and you can't pole dance! At least until High School!". Yeah but I agree, kid games are retarded.
i went wii said:
Even if these games have a disability or two (or ten), parents should forcibly force their kids to play games other than gta - forcibly!
WiiCharlie said:
I used to watch vegetales all the time. Ahhh. Sweet times. But ya. I'm 14 and I've never even played a gta game. So surely little kids shouldn't. But I ain't going to play no fricken veggie tales game! I mean cmon! But I think the wii's rep is safe enough. I mean Nintendo always come out with crappy kids games for a while. It's like a fad for them. They'll eventually realise that people aren't buying them and they'll stop. Then like 4 months later they'll start again. That's just life in Nintendo.
Gonzo said:
Man, Veggietales! Who in this world is going to buy a silly game like this. Stick to movies.
Iza said:
This is a smart move on Nintendo's part. Everyone that's complaining should just shut up and don't buy it. Simple enough? But from a marketing standpoint, it's genius. Veggie tales is extremely popular with Christian groups, no matter the denomination. Catholics, baptist, pentacostals, all of em! Nintendo is publishing this game for them. It's an almost untapped market. There were Bible games for SNES and older systems that sold pretty damn well. Exodus anyone? What about the Moses game? (yes, I was raised in an extremely religious home). The fact remains, Christians make up for the biggest group in America. Sure, not all of them are avid church goers. But if you ask random people on the street they'll say 'Ya, I'm a christian' even if they haven't been to church since 1994. The fact of the matter is, this is trying to appeal to a different market than all of you. It's aiming it at parents who want to instill moral values in their kids without reading scripture to them. It's a creative and fun way to learn about the Bible and its values for these kids. And no other religious groups are going to get mad. Because they can't! They are not defacing Allah, or Buddha, they are just giving points from the Bible in an easy way to this nations youth. I for one, support this effort. I don't have kids, so I won't buy it, but damn, with the kind of kids we have in this nation (USA), we NEED this. We NEED to teach these lessons to our kids. Maybe it will even get them wanting to go to church, to feel the sense of community, love and forgiveness that comes with it.

I'm 25, and I'll be buying this one. My son is 3 and he loves VeggieTales.
Shelley said:
I bought it for my son and we love it. It's something cute and wholesome. From what I read above, some of you could use a few lessons in tolerance. You don't have to spend your money.
Wiipaw said:
Iza. I don't know what to say.
Captain Jamesman said:
Iza, forget all I said in this forum. What you said really touched me. I too was a fan of veggietales, and I'm even a christian (Been one all my life). Thanks for this post you sent us. I'll buy this game if I get the chance.
Gonzo said:
I know a 15 year old attached to Veggietales.
cmk said:
Ok guys first of all, crave is developing and publishing this, so Nintendo really doesn't have a whole lot to do with it. And there were plenty of kids games (dora, blue, everything) on the gamecube too. You don't ruin a console by releasing games for all age groups. If I remember correctly, this game was pretty cross platform. You don't see the ps2 fading into oblivion because of one game. And thank you for an intelligent, thought out post, iza.

Splintercell4ever said:
You know, I wouldn't mind a game based around Samson now that I think about it.
TMT said:
More games for little kids is a good thing. I'll be getting this one for my kids as soon as it comes out. And as per Dora and Blue on Wii? I sure hope so.
Ja-Mez said:
You know, this game has quite a lot of posts even though it's highly unwanted.
Crimson Hawk said:
I am a christian (my entire family is). When I was little I loved Veggietales, I might get the game. Who knows it might be fun.
BlazingAngel45 said:
I loved veggie tales when I was younger and still do (even if I am 14), I'm a christian too and the shows delivers great messages even if it will be a bad game. I agree with crave - veggie tales won't ruin the Wii, as long as Nintendo keeps making brilliant games then I think we'll all be okay.
Wii Freak said:
Look the bottom line is that the characters in the game are Veggies. It's like a video game made by healthy people.
Fire Emblem Fan 14 said:
Veggie Tales!? I used to watch that in church! I haven't seen that in a while.
Go Coast Guard said:
Way to go BlazingAngel45. I completely agree and I'm 22. I still think Vegietales is flipping great.
The Red Baron said:
I'm 18 and I am a christian as well, and sure I play call of duty, madden, and mortal kombat- but I like veggietales. It may be silly and made for kids but at least the kids will be learning about bible heroes and god's great miracles instead of sex, drugs, murder and profanity. Even if you have nothing to do with god I'm sure you'd rather your tykes learning about him than the aforementioned no-no's.
Terry said:
I think this is the longest post for a game on the Wii, come on. It's Veggie Tales, nothing bad about it.
Silver Clover said:
Hey, give people some slack. The game is probably awesome, of course maybe to only little kids. But, don't buy it if you don't like it.
Silver Clover said:
Hey, think of this as Superman, Batman and some other superheroes combined. I'm not going to buy it, I'm twelve, but I'm sure some little kid will love it. At least you get to swing around with plungers, if they made an Avril Lavigne game, then all you could do is flip off people and spit at paparazzi.
momof2 said:
I have two kids one of which is 4 years old. Her grandfather just recently bought the Wii for the grandkids when they come to his house, however most of the games are a little too hard for my 4yo just yet. I for one am excited about a game that doesn't include violence and will be geared towards a younger child. She wants so badly to play when all her cousins are over but they are a good bit older and can handle the more hand eye coordinated games. I am a Christian and feel that veggietales is an awesome show for children and hey sometimes if I listen close enough I learn something too. So woohoo for the veggitales game, I am sure my daughter will love it. As said previously if you don't like it don't buy it, but I know my little one will enjoy it.
Eelf said:
WHAT? How old are some of you? 13? My 3 year old loves these guys, and I think they are really educational. I'm interested in getting this game I think she would really like it.
